RightAssist Technology Enhanced Care
Connected. Independent. Peace of Mind.
Do you worry about your aging loved one living alone? Do you find yourself constantly stressed, wondering if they’ve fallen or if they’re OK? You can now have the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are safe, even when you can’t be there.
We Call It RightAssist™
RightAssist combines a discreet, in-home wellness bracelet with the support of a Right at Home caregiver from Right at Home La Jolla, ensuring your loved one is cared for when they need it most. When a caregiver is present, they provide hands-on support, and when they’re not, our 24/7 activity monitoring offers continuous reassurance without compromising privacy or independence—no video, no step-by-step tracking, just simple peace of mind. This proactive approach not only keeps your loved one safe and comfortable but also helps identify opportunities to enhance their well-being and tailor their care plan to their specific need.
Stop worrying and start living, knowing that RightAssist is always there—even when you can’t be.
How You Will Benefit From RightAssist
24/7 Fall Detection. If your loved one falls, they can push a button on the bracelet to alert you. After a few minutes, the automatic fall detection will alert you or someone in your care circle so help can be on the way. If your loved one needs help at any time, they can also press the button to alert you.
Wellness Insights. You will receive real-time, virtual access to your loved one’s activity levels at home. The bracelet tracks movement as they navigate different areas, providing valuable insight into changes in daily routines. Irregular sleep patterns, frequent bathroom trips, or decreased outings could signal emerging health concerns, such as a urinary tract infection. At the same time, consistent activity and regular exercise can reassure you that your loved one is staying healthy and engaged.
We Set It. You Forget It. We will activate the bracelet, pair it with your loved one’s Wi-Fi, and review how to use the app. All you need to do is download the app and ensure your loved one is wearing the bracelet. That’s it! The bracelet is lightweight, waterproof, and has a 365-day battery life (which we will proactively replace before it runs out).
Safely Independent. You can experience peace of mind by knowing your loved one is safe and living independently. They may live alone, but they are not home alone because you can instantly know if they are following their daily activity patterns or not.
Comprehensive Support. We offer email and phone support to assist you with any questions or issues, ensuring you always have the help you need.

What Are Our Clients Saying?
“I don’t like having to wear pendants around my neck or on my wrist. They often irritate my skin. With the bracelet, I barely even noticed I was wearing it!”

Helpful FAQ About RightAssist
RightAssist is the name of our 24/7, tech-enhanced activity monitoring service. The service measures activity levels, sleep patterns and falls through a sleek, waterproof bracelet with a 365-day battery life. The bracelet is coupled with two Wi-Fi-based wall plugs for motion sensing (called “gateways”) and a family app.
You can pair this service with our traditional in-home, caregiver-based care offerings to ensure peace of mind when you’re not there. Or in between visits from our caregiver.
The information will allow both of us to better understand your senior loved one’s sleep and activity levels. If there is a fall or health event, you will have a baseline for activity levels before the event. The information will also allow you to review trends with our care manager to make sure your loved one is getting the care they need. The more we both know together, the better we can collaborate to tailor a care plan to your loved one’s actual needs, not just perceived needs.
Ideally, having access to this information will allow you to help your loved one remain at home and stay independent longer, and it will provide you with peace of mind. The information is innocuous. RightAssist gathers no health information or location data outside of the home.
The RightAssist package includes:
- A lightweight smart bracelet. The unobtrusive silicone wristband is designed specifically for seniors and has a 365-day battery life. It is also hypoallergenic and waterproof!
- Two gateways, or Wi-Fi-based wall plugs. They allow the data from the bracelet to flow to the app and connect the system together.
- An app. It provides reassurance to families and insight into the health and well-being of a loved one through:
- Real-time check-in capability.
- Habits of daily living.
- Activity metrics and gait speed.
- Location within the home.
- Historical view.
- Fall detection, movement, and other alert settings.
Yes, simply call us at (858) 277-5900 and ask for an additional bracelet.
We will visit the home to configure the Wi-Fi parameters needed for each gateway in just 15 minutes. Please have the Wi-Fi network name and password readily available.
To protect the wearer’s privacy, only the location within the home is captured and displayed. The wristband will continue to track their activity level outside the home but not their geographic location.
Besides the fact that this bracelet is not a watch, the biggest difference between the Apple Watch and the RightAssist monitoring bracelet is the battery life. The bracelet has a 365-day battery life, ensuring it never has to be taken off, even in the shower or bathtub. People tend to take off their Apple Watch and charge it nightly, which results in the inability to detect nighttime falls.
No, this is not a medical alert device. It is a lifestyle wellness device designed to give older adults independence and their family members peace of mind.
It will detect a fall, and there is an alert button, but it is not meant to be a lifesaving, emergency alert device. All emergency alerts will go to you or someone you designate, not emergency medical personnel. Many older adults prefer this because they do not want their neighbors to see an ambulance arriving at their house.
You can utilize RightAssist independently of home care, but most people pair the services together. RightAssist is a great aid for maintaining independence, connecting families, and identifying opportunities to improve care. The information provided through this service is invaluable in helping you definitively know how active your loved one is. That information will help you determine your loved one’s care needs and improve their quality of care.
