Glenn Fechtenburg, Owner
Glenn is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has extensive experience in Senior Adult Care. Glenn advanced his career by accepting a position in hospital administration and obtaining an MBA from the University of Central Florida. In his role as a hospital administrator, he became more acutely aware of the gap in patient care after discharge from the hospital. He knew he wanted to do something to make a greater difference in the community and improve the quality of care for patients once they returned home. His passions include helping seniors remain healthy and independent in the comfort of their own home.
Emily Fechtenburg, Owner
Emily has degrees in Psychology and Radiology. She worked for many years in elder care in an outpatient setting and has applied her education and experience to a management role as well. Emily also has several years of experience in educating healthcare practitioners on techniques to treat adult vascular disease. Emily's experiences in the healthcare field stem from a strong desire to help others as well as personal family experiences where her own elderly family members were able to stay in their homes thanks to the loving care of qualified healthcare professionals.
Dawn Hansley, Director of Operations
My name is Dawn and I am the Director of Operations at Right at Home. I have worked in Human Resources for 10+ years and love helping employees reach their full potential. When I am not at work I love spending time with my family, going to the beach and enjoying the Florida theme parks. I have always had a passion for helping others and this is a big part of why I enjoy working at Right at Home. I attended CNA school in 2005 and found a whole new respect for elders and caregivers. I am a Certified CPR Instructor with the American Heart Association.
One thing that I always try and reiterate to all caregivers and staff is that we are here for you. No matter the problem or issue as long as we keep communication open there is nothing too big or too small that we can’t tackle together. Working at Right at Home has been a wonderful experience as we are all working together as a team, or more so as a family, to provide the best care for our clients and the best working environment for our caregivers.
Cynthia Pruitt, Billing & Payroll, Human Resources
I love being a part of Right at Home, you truly are treated like family here! My role here is as the Human Resources Assistant. I am responsible for billing and payroll for all offices and all staff. I like being able to connect with our employees and help them find a career that they truly love. When I am not in the office, I am spending time with my little family either relaxing at home or out on adventures.
Rebekah Mahlan, Client Care Coordinator
I am Rebekah Mahlan and I am a Client Care Coordinator in our Tavares office. I grew up in this area and have many local friends and connections. I graduated from Leesburg High School and attended Warner University. My background is in law enforcement, event management and dealership management.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. We like to go paddle boarding and swimming. We really enjoy supporting local sports teams like Orlando City Soccer, Florida Gators, and Tampa Bay Rays. Go City! Go Gators! Go Rays! My most awesome skills are being awesome, using sarcasm, and yelling at umpires!
In my role at Right at Home, I love the people I interact with and find comfort knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of others. I am proud of the relationships I build my clients and co-workers. My co-workers have become like family; we laugh, cry and support each other like no other business I have ever been part of.
Rebecca Cockroft, Client Care Coordinator and Scheduler
I'm Becca, a Care Coordinator and Scheduler at Right at Home. In 2012, I became a CNA. I was hands-on in the field working at Care Facilities and in Home Health for 4 years. Although I loved my job, when an opportunity presented itself, I transitioned into an administrative role. I have taken several courses at Seminole State College in efforts to expand my knowledge of business, sales and administrative works. The thing I enjoy most about my roles here is being able to connect my awesome clients with fabulous caregivers. I am so proud to work with our amazing team! In my free time you can find me at the beach or at our local theme parks.
Sarah Ricardo, Human Resources Assistant
My name is Sarah and I am the Human Resources Assistant at Right at Home. I was born and raised in Florida and majored in Business Administration at Lake-Sumter State College. I enjoy spending time with my husband and cats, playing video games with my friends, and learning new skills in my free time. The dedication and kindness this team shares with everyone they interact with makes me love being a part of RAH. It's very rewarding to be able to utilize my skills to help out the staff at this wonderful company.
