Josephina Pruitt, LPN. Nursing Coordinator
My name is Josie and I am the Nursing Coordinator. As the nursing coordinator at Right at Home I am responsible for all aspects of the client’s care. I conduct supervisory visits and do in-home assessments. I also monitor the care being provided inside the client’s home. I have been working for Right at Home Lancaster and Chester Counties since June 2018 and feel very blessed to work here. I was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. I currently reside in Lancaster City with my husband, daughter and our Springer Spaniel.
I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and being outdoors. I graduated in 2014 with my LPN in Lancaster County. Before joining Right at Home I worked as a nurse in family care, addiction, rehab and orthopedics. I got into the health care field because I wanted to do something in my career that is challenging and makes a difference in people's lives on a daily basis. To me this is not just a job, it's a calling!
Christie Ramey, Home Care Scheduler
Hi, my name is Christie Ramey and I am the Home Care Scheduler for Right at Home. I have worked for Right at Home since November 2015. My role includes matching the right caregivers to assist each of our clients based on their individual needs, and to ensure that it is a good match.
I reside in Port Deposit, MD with my 2 children where I have lived for most of my life. After graduation from Perryville High School, MD in 1992, I became a caregiver. I received my certificate as a Medical Technician in 1997. I have always enjoyed assisting clients and providing them with the best care possible.
Susan Bailey, R.N., HR & Office Manager
My name is Susan Bailey and I am the HR & Office Manager. I am a caregiver at heart and have found I am much more comfortable giving care than receiving care. I don’t remember ever wanting to become anything other than a nurse.
I have been a RN for quite some time and can look back to see how each position has prepared me for the next nursing opportunity. I started my nursing career on a Med/Surg unit at a hospital in Upstate NY. I was there for 11 years before my husband and I and two children moved to PA, to live and work at a Children’s Home. I was the nurse on campus, Events Coordinator and Office Manager — so many stories to tell. You never know what a child will say at any given moment. After 14 years, I went to Long Term Care and was the Care Coordinator, reviewing care plans with families. After six years, I went to a Skilled Home Care Agency and was a Manager for 12 years. Now after 45 years of various nursing positions I am delighted to be working for Rob and Sandy at Right At Home. I am eager to use the skills I have learned over the years to support and assist our Right at Home Team and community.
I was born and raised in Upstate NY and currently live in the beautiful County of Lancaster, PA in the village of Strasburg.
In my free time I enjoy keeping memories alive by sharing God’s faithfulness to our family through scrapbooking. Of course being a Grammy to two little boys and one little girl gives me great joy and plenty of photos to scrapbook.
As I begin this new position and have yet another opportunity to use my nursing experience to make a difference in someone’s life, my goal is to: encourage, motivate and inspire our caregivers to provide exceptional care so our clients receive a positive experience from the beginning to the end.
