Our People
Our mission has always been to improve the quality of life for the seniors and adults with disabilities we serve. That means it's always about the people we serve and our dedicated team of caregivers and office members who work tirelessly to care for clients. We live and breathe our mission every day, with the goal of helping you navigate the journey. These are the people who work to bring you and your loved ones the highest caliber of in‑home care.

I chose Right at Home. Making the decision was aided by the openness of all the people I spoke with at the Right at Home office and by the attitude of others I spoke with. It appeared to me the people at Right at Home wanted to be sure we were a good fit for each other. They wanted me to succeed and would help in anyway possible if they felt I was a good fit. After that, it all came together.
For the community I strive to be a caring and compassionate person that enjoys seeing others succeed. If success looks like staying in your home a few years longer, I’ll enjoy that. If that success is getting out for a walk, I’ll enjoy that. If success means that the family of a person needing care can have peace of mind that their loved one is in good hands, I'll enjoy that.
When I consider my favorite parts of my day at Right at Home three things come to mind as most enjoyable. First, seeing the look of relief on the daughter's face when we explained how we could help her and her father was unbelievable.
Secondly, I really enjoy the training and orientation of new, enthusiastic caregivers. When they see the difference and growth that their training can provide to a person’s life they really light up.
Probably my favorite part of the day is visiting people. Telling others what we can do for their loved ones, friends, or people within their care is fulfilling and provides relief and care for sometimes stressed and exhausted people.. I have yet to have a negative experience with anyone, most seem enthused and interested in the services we can provide.
When I’m not working I enjoy hanging with my 11 year old son and 16 year old daughter. Both are very involved in soccer, love to bike, roller blade, and go for walks. Living in Florida, frequent trips to the beach are a big part of our leisure time as well as occasional trips to the many theme parks. I also try to get out for morning runs and, of course, there is Finnick, our 8 month old Labradoodle. I seem to be the adopted caregiver and designated dog walker.
Bob Starks, Community Relations Manager
My introduction to senior living began many years ago when my wife and I became involved with aging parents who needed various senior living resource alternatives. Sparking a true interest in the senior living industry, I then worked in an assisted living community for two years before joining “Right at Home”.
My experience from “both sides of the fence” has provided me with a unique insight into understanding the resource options available to you and your family as you explore senior living options.
I am passionate, understanding and empathetic about assisting families in their search for senior living alternatives for their loved ones.
I know from first-hand experience how challenging and frustrating it can be. My goal is to make the solution as easy as possible for you and your family.
I attended the University of Memphis and have 26 years experience with Merck (Schering-Plough Healthcare), as well as three years with Samsung Consumer Electronics, before moving into the senior care arena at a local assisted living community in sales and marketing for two years.
