Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Growing home care company is looking for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The Sales & Marketing Coordinator (“SMC”) reports directly to the office Administrator. The SMC will manage, coordinate and execute all events and marketing and branding inquires and requests in their territory.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and execute the company’s events and sponsorships, including on-site/location management of all events. Such responsibilities include, but are not limited to, vendor relationships, creating targeted mailing lists, working with the Administrator on presentation and advertising materials, and leading post-event activities
  • Sell and promote the agency services in the community
  • Perform marketing administrative duties such as updating and maintaining events calendar, and tracking post event metrics
  • Manage all social media for the offices
  • Be totally knowledgeable in the agency service lines, service fees and client base for each office
  • Propose services and institute contractual agreements with clients
  • Communicate information on competitive strategy to agency office staff
  • Build sales within assigned area according to goals
  • Pre-plan weekly sales activities
  • Maintain current written documentation relating to all sales activity via the company’s software program
  • Participate in developing annual sales goals
  • Coordinate sales activity with all office staff to assure appropriate follow-up
  • Maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness in daily activities
  • Provide Administrator with ideas and data which outline new service opportunities and sales potential
  • Protect all company records and property
  • Participate in educational opportunities in health care
  • Create and develop promotional material as needed
  • Represent agency at community functions and professional organizations
  • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours

Additional (non-essential) Functions

Performs other duties assigned by the Administrator and owner of the office

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Availability

  • The SMC shall be an individual who has (6) months of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the health care industry
  • Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management
  • Must have strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
  • Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation
  • Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work successfully with clients, staff, community, and vendors
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to learn new database programs

Working Conditions/Environment

Works primarily out of the local offices in Metairie.
