Christina and Matt Hedberg


Matt and Chris Hedberg, both life-long residents of Grand Ledge, opened Right At Home in 2009. Inspired by the physical and emotional challenges of their family members coping with cancer treatment, Matt and Chris began researching in-home care options and soon found interest in sharing their experiences and compassion with others.

Staff Coordinator

I joined Right At Home Mid-Michigan in 2014, and currently serve as Staffing Coordinator. I joined this team for many reasons; one being that I believe in the mission of helping to keep people in their homes and assisting in their daily care needs is an important and needed service to the elderly and disabled. I also believe the owners hold that philosophy closely.

In this role, I am responsible for Human Resources and am always focused on hiring qualified caregivers to care for our clients. I also assist with staffing/scheduling and assist current and potential clients. I take pride in serving our community by providing a needed and valuable service. Working with the owners, my coworkers, our caregivers and clients is a privilege.

I have an extensive history in the medical field beginning in 1987. During that time I have served many fulfilling and enjoyable roles; all leading into the next rewarding version of serving patients and clients. Over my career, I have gained experience in administrative functions, Medical Assistant components, insurance billing, practice administration, revenue management, and supervisory and management positions -- all of it centered on helping people.

Scheduling Coordinator

I began with Right At Home as a caregiver in 2009, and currently serve as the Scheduling Coordinator/After-Hours Coordinator. The opportunity to leverage my experience as a caregiver has a direct impact on my daily work and interactions as I help our staff and clients achieve their goals. Helping those in need is central to my role and personal interests.

As a long-time resident of the Grand Ledge area, I take great pride in helping our community. In addition to being an especially proud mom, I strive to be able to help people stay in their homes longer and to assist in removing some of the burden family members often feel as they adjust to the needs of their loved ones.
