Nebraska Congressman Co-Sponsors Bill To Expand Medicare Coverage for In-Home Care

In May, Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE) and Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) introduced the Expanding Care in the Home Act in the U.S. House of Representatives. The bill allows more services to take place safely in the home for Medicare beneficiaries. These services include assistance with the activities of daily living. Doug Robertson, Right at Home’s Director of Health Care Regulations and Compliance, and Kristi Benning, owner of the Right at Home office in Omaha, Nebraska, provide their perspectives in support of the bill.
