Rob and Susan Brown – Owners
Right at Home North Atlanta opened with the goal of providing the best in-home care for seniors in Alpharetta and surrounding areas. Rob and Susan Brown opened their office in March of 2010 and today are still innovating, finding new ways to engage and better the lives of those in the community.
Together Rob and Susan have over 40 years of combined experience in the healthcare industry and operational management. Their extensive expertise in medical market research, recruiting, project management, and strategic planning, make for a dynamically led in-home care team in the Right at Home office.
Originally from Bluefield, WV, Susan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). Rob has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University and hails from Asheville, NC.
Guided by experiences with the care of their own aging parents, Susan and Rob left corporate America to pursue making a difference in the lives of the people and community their business serves. “I want to end each day knowing I have done something meaningful to improve someone else’s day! I live each day to its fullest and want to help those I care for do the same,” says Susan. Everything they do in business is grounded in that very passionate belief.
We are members of the National Aging In Place Council – Atlanta Chapter, North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Susan is a member and previous President of the American Business Women’s Association – Alpharetta Chapter.

Jordan Stephens, RN – Director of Nursing
I am a registered nurse with an ICU and hospice background. I have a passion for caring for others, especially the elderly population. I am originally from Charlotte, NC. I moved to Georgia to attend Emory University's nursing program. My greatest joy is my family - I have two daughters, ages 2 and 6 months and a wonderful husband, Luke!
Fun fact: I am a second-generation American. My mom grew up in South Africa and most of my mom's side of the family still live there.

Jody King – Office Manager
I came into this industry brand new yet brought with me over 25 years’ experience in a corporate office environment focusing on growing the operations through its people. I have been humbled during my journey working in the senior industry but feel my past experiences allowed me to continue providing excellent internal customer service to our caregivers as well as the needed empathy and compassion to our clients and their family members. I truly look forward to continuing with RAH as well as those families / caregivers counting on us each and every day.
I am the proud mother of 2 great kids who are pursuing their passions. My daughter is a High School Language Arts teacher, and my son is working on his undergrad and graduate studies in Data Sciences / Statistics at Mississippi State University. I enjoy spending time with family and our dogs as well as quiet time reading.
Fun fact: I might be one of the few people that love black licorice, beaches, outside cafes and bookstores but dislike sand, hot coffee and digital books.

Dawna Williamson – Director of Client Relations
I have been assisting families in various capacities for over 10 years. I started as an Administrative Assistant and Program Coordinator at the Alpharetta Adult Activity Center servicing seniors in the local community. Here, I discovered the importance of engagement and socialization for both the physical and emotional health of seniors. I then worked as a Community Relations Director assisting seniors and their families at Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in the local area. In this role, I developed the understanding of how this industry functions for seniors. Recently, I was assisting families within Hospice care before I came to Right at Home. This provided me with the insight regarding End-of-Life care and assistance.
I am so excited to be working with Susan and Rob Brown and the entire team here at Right at Home North Atlanta as the Director of Client Relations. I truly feel that my journey working with families in various capacities and functions will provide a well-rounded, compassionate, and effective approach to In Home Care for families. I know that there are a lot of questions and concerns families may have on this journey. My professional, as well as personal journey with family, through these various stages will be extremely helpful and insightful.
I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Scott, for 32 years. We have two adult children: a daughter(Amanda) that is an Art teacher for Middle School, and a son (Brian) that is a Genetic Counselor at a pediatric hospital. My “Golden Age” parents live with us along with 2 rescue dogs.
In our spare time, you will usually find my husband and I at the local baseball fields as my husband has been a volunteer Recreational Baseball coach for over 15 years. When I was a child, I was a competitive dancer, and did professional theater in NY. As a result, the Performing Arts and Sports have a strong presence in our family.
Fun fact: I love music, and my co-workers often experience my strong need to find a song to accompany almost any situation.

Andrew Roach – Operations Manager
I am originally from Frankfort, Kentucky and prior to Right at Home, I worked for HCA Healthcare Corporate and South Atlantic Division in IT in Nashville, TN and Charleston, SC.
Fun Facts: I built my own computer and love understanding how things work! (Andrew is also Susan and Rob’s son-in-law and is married to their daughter, Sydney!)

Tanisha Fitzgerald – Client Care Coordinator
I am originally from Long Island, NY. I recently graduated college with my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I am a former case manager and CNA for the elderly population. Working with the elderly population has always held a special place in my heart. I am a great person for this role because I have been on both spectrums of this field, and I could match the clients with the perfect caregiver and help them to create a long-lasting bond. In my spare time, I like to be with my family and friends spending time with them and creating memories.
A fun fact about me is that I am a huge anime fan and I love to attend the comic con events when I can.

Jasia Blake – Client Care Coordinator
I am originally from Detroit and have a B.S. in Integrated Health Science and have two years of senior care experience working with elderly and disabled Medicaid recipients.
Fun Fact: I worked in a chocolate factory for three years as a teenager.

Raysa Polanco – Recruiter
At the young age of 9 years old I discovered my passion for the medical field and assisting others. I have over 20 years of experience and a lifetime passion/dedication for it. My mom was diagnosed with early onset Dementia/Alzheimer’s at the age of 60 and I knew that it was up to me to ensure that she was well taken care of. This isn’t an easy journey, but it is something that prepared me for this field. I thoroughly enjoy being able to connect Caregivers with the same passion to our clients to ensure that they are in great hands.
Faith is something that I consider to be extremely important, is the foundation to everything that I do. Family means everything to me. I am the mom of an AMAZING 16-year-old boy. I try my best to always dedicate time to those I love, that could be cooking at home, going on family trips, reading the bible together or just watching a good movie. Is all about creating great memories.
Fun fact about me: I sing in my church choir, and I do photography as a hobby. Singing allows me to express myself in such a way that it is very difficult to express with words. Photography allows me to be the “creator” of a frozen moment that people get to keep and enjoy for the rest of their lives.
