The Importance of Community
Right at Home North Dallas is committed to being an integral and active member of our community. As an in-home care provider, we understand seniors' connections and relationships are key to living vital lives as they age. Likewise, we know as a company that having strong connections and relationships in the community is key to ensuring seniors get the resources, education, and care they need.

Back to School with Right at Home
Right at Home North Dallas was so blessed to be able to provide backpacks full of school supplies to 26 of our caregivers last week. These caregivers give of themselves daily to assist our clients and what a privilege it was to give back to them. In addition, we had a drawing for 3 $50.00 gift cards to Famous Footwear. Congratulations to Slide, Beatrice, and Kiremont for winning the raffle. We can't wait to see pictures of the new shoes on your kids! They are walking into school in style. Have a great and safe School Year Everyone!
Milk-n-Cookies for The Longest Day
Right at Home North Dallas and the Visiting Nurse Association partnered up to provide Milk and Cookies to Five Memory Care Units to their residents and Staff in honor of The Longest Day. This day is designed by the Alzheimer’s Association to clear the darkness of Alzheimer's by individuals participating in all sorts of activities on the brightest day of the year. Melissa White, Operations Manager of Right at Home said this about the 5 separate events; “Of course, Right at Home and VNA were there to introduce our services to these facilities; but the time spent with the residents was priceless. I had so many sweet moments with some of the residents; from having a wheelchair dance with a gentleman enjoying some music, to talking to a lady about how my grandmother named me, to being kissed on the hand for providing a simple cookie to a lady. It reminded me how much we make a difference in people’s lives. Alzheimer’s and Dementia are such horrible diseases, but we brought smiles to their faces! My mom passed in April of 2022 of Dementia and so this is near and dear to my heart.”
Right at Home would like to thank Jody Rindfleisch from the Visiting Nurse Association for her partnership with these events. We would also like to thank the following facilities for allowing us to host these events: Ventana by Buckner, Caruth Haven, Brookdale Memory Care, The Tradition at Prestonwood, and The Preston of the Park Cities. This will be an annual event that is repeated by Right at Home! It certainly is not a bad thing to be known for being a great Home Care company and Milk and Cookies!
