Owners
Matt and Rachel Field
Matt and Rachel Field are the proud founders and leaders of Right at Home of North Suburban Chicago. Matt grew up on the North Shore, and Rachel grew up in Baltimore; they met at Union College in Schenectady, NY. Both have professional backgrounds in non-profit work, where they supported individuals and families in their communities.
Since opening Right at Home in 2012, Matt, Managing Partner, and Rachel, Principal Partner, have built a dedicated team of professionals driven by core values including compassion, respect, advocacy, accountability, and innovation. Together, they ensure the organization consistently delivers exceptional care and serves the community with integrity and dignity.
Outside of work, Matt and Rachel cherish spending time with their family and beloved dogs, Mabel and Louie. Matt enjoys lifelong fitness pursuits, while Rachel loves reading, is an avid walker, and enjoys playing mahjong with friends.


Priscilla Castillo
Director of Client Care
Priscilla was born in Belize. Most of her professional life has been spent in health care. She began working with Right at Home in 2014 as a caregiver. Her special connection with her clients was noted early in her career with Right at Home and soon she became a field supervisor. Priscilla has steadily gained more responsibilities at Right at Home and now serves as Director of Client Care, responsible for ensuring clients have the proper level of care. She works tirelessly to ensure that Right at Home clients, their families, and caregivers are satisfied.
When Priscilla is not at Right at Home, she is studying to become a Registered Nurse. She does a masterful job balancing her various responsibilities and is constantly striving to extend her own expertise and abilities to provide the best care solutions to clients and patients.
In Priscilla's free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, nieces, and her two dogs. She also likes cooking, bike riding and going dancing.


Client Care Coordinator
Mary Lakatos
Meet Mary, our dedicated Client Care Coordinator at Right at Home North Suburban Chicago. In her role, Mary experty navigates the intricate puzzle of placing caregivers with clients, finding just the right fit to ensure everyone is content and well-cared for. When she successfully matches a caregiver with a client, it gives her a warm, fuzzy feeling, knowing she's made a positive impact on their day.
Mary brings a wealth of experience to her position, having previously worked as a senior systems analyst for a Fortune 500 company, in business administration and management, and as a preschool director. Her diverse background enriches her approach to scheduling, blending precision with a personal touch.
With her positive attitude and boundless energy, Mary tackles each day with a calm determination to succeed. Inspired by her husband, three adult children, and her beloved dog, Lola, she finds job and motivation in her family and furry friend. In her free time, Mary loves to hike and connect with the great outdoors, a practice that helps her rejunvenate her body, mind, and soul. Her tranquil yet spirited approach to her work and life makes her a cherished member of our team and a warm presence in our Right at Home family.

Andres Jaramillo
Hello everyone! This is Andres, but you can call him Andrew. Andres is the executive assistant here at Right at Home North Suburban Chicago. He has a degree in Economics with a financial emphasis. Andes has experience supporting administrative tasks in different areas of the company. He started in the labor market in 2022 and has been in the public and private sector.
Andres lives in Colombia and he'll be helping you from there for all your needs, questions, scheduling, and a friend to talk.
He enjoys reading books about science fiction, movies abouto zombies and spending time with his mom.


Human Resources
Steve Cummins
Steve's role in Human Resources with Right at Home of North Suburban Chicago is to onboard new hires and to support all employees with personnel matters, benefits, and other employee programs. Steve previously spent over 30 years in the public schools and park districts as a teacher, human resources administrator, and chief financial officer. Steve sees his current job at Right at Home of Northwest Suburban Chicago as a great fit, for it is a people-centered workplace whose mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. He finds great fulfillment in helping and supporting the employees who are doing this important work for our clients.
Steve is a family man that loves to spend time with his wife and two children - whether it be college visits, travel, trying out new restaurants, or spending time at the house along with the two dogs. He enjoys watching and attending sporting events - particularly ones that involve universities his family attended. Steve also values giving back to his community. He serves as a commissioner of his village's park district and supports numerous school and community events.


Recruiter/Human Resources
Diego Valdivieso
Hello! This is Diego, our recruiter for both offices. He is the first contact from the company to start your hiring process. He has a degree in Psychology. Diego can help you with your hiring process, with your online training, job offers and anything related to start working with us. He started in this field in 2021 and has been working with Right at Home since December 2022.
Diego lives in Colombia, and he'll be helping you from there for all your needs, always with a positive attitude and a smile.
He enjoys spending time with his loved ones, playing soccer, watching WWE and Marvel movies.


On-Call Manager
Nancy Evans
Meet Nancy, our dynamic On-Call Manager at Right at Home! With her energy and dedication, Nancy is the superhero who's here for you after hours, on weekends, and holidays - from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Her journey in healthcare began as a CNA and for over 15 years she's been passionately committed to home healthcare. Nancy thrives on tackling the unique challenges of her role, using her creativity and strategic thinking to ensure our clients receive the best care possible and their families have peace of mind.
When she's not managing care, Nancy is a devoted mom who loves creating cherished memories with her son and family. Whether they're exploring new places or enjoying quality time together, Nancy's adventures outside work bring a vibrant and joyful energy that she carries into her professional life.
With Nancy on the team, you can be confident that every challenge will be met with expertise and a warm heart.


Nurse Advocate
Audrey Friedland
Audrey Friedland R.N. is the nurse manager for Right at Home, North Suburban Chicago. She graduated from Michael Reese Nursing School and has been a nurse for 47 years with a wide range of experiences. She has worked general medical/surgical floors in a hospital, out patient clinics for Northwestern, Psychiatrics, Pediatrics and Geriatrics. She was a director of nursing for 15 years in a skilled nursing facility.
At Right at Home Northwest Suburban Chicago, Audrey oversees client care, assesses new clients and clients with change of condition, updates care plans. Her role is flexible and spends most of her time visiting with clients.
Audrey lives with her husband and has 4 children and 7 grandchildren. Her hobbies are reading, crocheting and needlepoint. However, most free time is spent with her grandchildren.
