Firehouse Subs for Essentials!
Right at Home NW Houston helped sponsor lunch, by Firehouse Subs, for all HCA Healthcare Houston-North Cypress hospital employees on April 23, 2020. This group effort was an expression of thanks for all the hospital employees are doing during this pandemic. February Caregiver Training Event, Fun and Informative
On February 20th and 22nd 2020, our office located at 9538 Huffmeister Rd in Houston, TX, held in house training sessions for our caregivers. The sessions included vital signs, transfers, bathing and glucose readings. We had large groups attending to review and enhance their skills for our clients.

2nd Annual Cookies with Santa!
Our 2nd Annual Cookies with Santa event was hosted on December 7, 2019, at the Right at Home Northwest Houston office in Houston, Texas. The office staff, caregivers and their families enjoyed photos with Santa! Those attending received a complementary photo, played games, decorated stockings, and a enjoyed a hot cocoa bar with specialty handmade cookies. The morning was filled with laughter, bonding and fun!
Professional Caregivers Week November 2019
Right at Home Northwest Houston had the honor of recognizing their Professional Caregivers during Professional Caregivers Week November 2019. The week was filled with multiple events at the home office at 9538 Huffmeister Rd in Houston, TX. The 50 Professional Caregivers that were able to attend enjoyed a token of appreciation gift, a chance to spin for a prize and delicious food.







Navigating the Care Maze
On August 12, Sandi Heintz, Certified Senior Advisor and owner Right at Home NW Houston helped provide knowledge on “Navigating the Care Maze” to clients of Hilbun Law Firm at the law firm in Houston, TX. The feedback was very positive. The clients asked excellent questions and walked away with knowledge they need for options regarding care for their self or their loved one.
Dementia Live Training
On May 21, 2019, our caregivers received Dementia Live training in our office at 9538 Huffmeister Rd in Houston. Our Care Team was eager to be part of the Dementia simulation to learn what our clients with Dementia face on a daily basis.
This training session provides hands on additional information to enhance the service for our clients.
Serving Breakfast in Katy

Dementia Live presentation in The Woodlands
Right at Home Northwest Houston presented Dementia Live to Pathfinders Home Health at The Woodlands, TX. To understand those that live with Dementia helps to be able to relate and help them in the world they live in.

Heritage Park Nursing & Rehab Center Chili Cook-off in Katy

On National Wear Red Day 2019, Right at Home Northwest Houston partnered with several companies for a Chili Cook-Off. It was held at Heritage Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Katy, TX. All the proceeds raised benefited the American Heart Association. Gift Tree for the Cypress Area
Right at Home Northwest Houston & Katy coordinated with Langham Creek YMCA rep, Tracy Poerschke, to create a gift tree to purchase Christmas items for seniors in need in the Cypress Area. Cypress Assisted Ministries rep, Henry Lombrana, helped to provide us with names (approximately 25 individuals) that needed assistance. December 12th Sandi Heintz, owner of Right at Home Northwest Houston, delivered the gifts to Cypress Assistance Ministries. They will take the gifts to the seniors on 12/17/18. Just another way Right at Home Northwest Houston & Katy is dedicated to reaching out and helping others in our area.

Christmas Happy Hour in Katy
Right at Home Northwest Houston & Katy enjoyed partnering with Vantage Hospice, Colonial Oaks Katy and 1st Texas Home Health for a festive event for seniors. The food and entertainment were enjoyed by all at this Christmas Happy Hour held at the Grand Parkway Apartments in Katy, TX. Our Community Liaison, Chessa Rapp, represented and enjoyed participating in this fun event.
Professional Caregivers Week
Right at Home NW Houston & Katy celebrated National Caregivers Appreciation Week by treating our caregivers to prizes, food and drawings for free turkeys. We give a huge shout out to our compassionate and dedicated caregivers for their very important role in our company. Thank you for helping our clients.
Five-year Celebration Open House
Right at Home Northwest Houston and Katy hosted a Five Year Celebration Open House! Community, office staff and caregivers enjoyed food, laughs and fellowship. A fundraiser was also held for Free Wheelchair Mission which Right at Home has partnered with. As owner Sandi Heintz shared, our Open House marking 5 years truly is a celebration of what God has done through Right at Home by way of the RightPeople, RightServices, RightApproach and RightMission.
Cy-Fair Houston Chamber Ribbon Cutting
Right at Home Northwest Houston and Katy had their Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting event on September 27, 2018. This event was held at Right at Home Northwest Houston and Katy’s new office located at 9538 Huffmeister Rd, Houston, TX. The Chamber’s Ambassadors conducted the event with welcoming the crowd and Sandi Heintz, Right at Home owner, shared her reflecting thoughts of the past 5 years and future dedicated to serving our community. Sandi cut the ribbon and the crowd applauded in celebration. A complimentary lunch followed which all enjoyed.
'The Longest Day' Office Event
Right at Home Northwest Houston hosted in their Houston office an event to support the Alzheimer’s “The Longest Day”. Caregivers and staff planted flowers in pots, received a Right at Home logo shirt with #endalz, and filled out cards of cheer.
The flowers were delivered to several nearby Memory Care facilities and the cards of cheer to local Assisted Living places. Caregivers, Raquel and Diedra, are featured in these photos.
Poker Night Event in Tomball
Right at Home Northwest Houston team member, Josh, spear heads Poker Night events. Resident, Herb, won a Houston Astros Jersey at the Southern Knights Senior Living Community in Tomball, TX. Poker Night events are thoroughly being enjoyed by the residents.
Senior Scams Lunch and Learn in Houston
Right at Home Northwest Houston conducted a Lunch and Learn event on Senior Scams - Schemes and Fraud. Presenter was local owner, Sandi Heintz. Some of the many topics covered in the presentation were home improvement fraud, counterfeit prescriptions, telemarketing fraud, funeral fraud and grandparent scam to name a few. This was a local event to educate and help our community. Thank you Care Patrol of Northwest Houston and The Hilbun Law Firm for Co-sponsoring and The Hilbun Law Firm for hosting.
Caregiver Support Group

Right at Home Northwest Houston sponsors and facilitates a caregiver support group at Solana Preserve Vintage Park, an independent living community, the 4th Tuesday of every month. We enjoy supporting the community and giving back.
Nurses Week in Tomball

Right at Home Northwest Houston supporting the Heights of Tomball for Nurses Week. We provided a Kona Ice Truck with our Co-Sponsor, Molly, from Hospice Plus. We served snow cones to all the staff. We wanted thank them for their hard work. It was a great way to cool off in the heat and enjoy fellowship.
