Recognizing Our Wonderful Right at Home Caregivers

Announcing January 2019's ...

CAREGIVER OF THE MONTH —
BETTYE FERGUSON

Please join us in congratulating our January 2019 Caregiver of the Month, Bettye Ferguson!

You may recognize Bettye as our Caregiver of the Month from December 2018 – our first recipient of this award in back-to-back months! Bettye began 2019 by continuing the excellent care she provides for her live-in client.

In January, northwest Indiana suffered the coldest temperatures in many years. Bettye was with her client during that polar vortex and graciously agreed to extend her live-in shift with little notice due to the weather. In addition to her flexibility, Bettye gives our office staff a full report on her client’s improvements. She practices multiple physical therapy exercises with him several times a day to help him maintain and gain his strength and mobility. We recently learned that Bettye is looking to bring him outside to start aqua therapy when the weather finally warms up. This is an amazing step and something her client is excited to begin.

Like all of our best caregivers, Bettye never misses a clock-in or out, diligently turns in her care notes weekly, and keeps the office updated on changes in her client’s condition. Bettye, a huge thank you for delivering the gold standard of care to your client and for being an outstanding caregiver.

As a reward for earning the Caregiver of the Month award, Bettye will be awarded a $100 bonus, given Right at Home apparel, have her name engraved on the Caregiver of the Month plaque in our office, and receive company-wide recognition.

TEAM PLAYER OF THE MONTH —  HEATHER NORRICK

Please join us in congratulating Heather Norrick, our January 2019 Team Player of the Month!

In addition to providing care to her regular clients in January, Heather happily accepted several additional shifts, including multiple overnight shifts. Heather stepped in when we had a brand new client who required immediate care and also requested caregivers experienced in providing dementia care. Heather used her excellent skills and made the client feel comfortable during her time with him.

Heather always lives Right at Home’s mission of improving the quality of life for those we serve with her professionalism and compassion. Her regular clients frequently call the office to praise Heather and often request her to return when she is available. Heather, thank you for upholding the gold standard of care and being part of our culture of excellence!

As a reward for earning the Team Player of the Month award, Heather will receive a $50 bonus and company-wide recognition.

ALL-STARS OF THE MONTH

We would also like to congratulate our January 2019 All-Stars who will be awarded a $20 gift card to Meijer and receive company-wide recognition. Right at Home All-Stars are selected based on several factors, including excellence in regularly clocking in and out on time, not calling off shifts, and providing great care to clients. Total hours worked for the month and a willingness to cover shifts and be a team player are also considered.

We are the Right People, Doing the Right Things, the Right Way, for the Right Reason

During my recovery from foot surgery, I had the BEST care takers who took care of both my Mom and I. Each person has their special talent and way of making us feel comfortable. If the need should ever arise, I will feel comfortable knowing Mom will get the wonderful care this company provides.
