Owner of Right at Home Northwest Pittsburgh
Years ago, after Jim's mom had passed away, his dad came to live him and his wife, Vera. They soon had experience with caregivers coming into their home to occasionally help with Jim's dad. When Jim and Vera started their agency, they were determined to provide a service which would be far better than their own experiences.
"We learned a lot from those early experiences," said Jim. As a result, "We hire the best caregivers we can find, and we always provide excellent communication with family members. If we couldn't fill a shift, either myself or Vera would cover it and do whatever it took to meet the client's needs."
Five years later, that early commitment to excellent service and dependability has earned Right At Home North Pittsburgh a reputation for doing "whatever it takes" to get the job done.
Sadly, Vera lost a six-year battle with cancer in September of 2014. Jim is determined to continue managing the agency with the same commitment and dedication to quality service that he and Vera intended when they began the company.
Jim is a Certified Senior Advisor. He has an undergraduate degree from Boston University and a graduate degree from Boston College. Jim is on the board of directors of the Southwestern PA Partnership for Aging and is a member of the Pa. Providers Coalition Association. Jim lives in lower Butler County. He enjoys sports and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
In loving memory of Vera, Jim attends Hair Peace Charities' annual program every year.
