Need care and assistance right away?

Life happens! Our Urgent Care Services are there to support you 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year. There is always a member of our Care Management Team on-call to assist with the start up of Urgent Care cases. In many cases, we can start services the same day. Our team prides its reputation for being able to staff Urgent Care requests.

What is Urgent Care?

Care and or services that are required with less than seven days notice for a new client and less than three business days for an existing client are considered as Urgent Care requests. Typically, we require a week’s notice to be able to staff a new service requests with caregiver-client match that everyone will be happy with. With Urgent Care, the priority is placed on fulfilling the need in whatever staffing combinations we can.

What are the fees for Urgent Care?

A 30% surcharge is added onto all Urgent Care requests and the fees for all shifts within the first week of service are considered non-refundable in the event of client cancellation.

Why does Urgent Care Cost More?

Urgent Care

Basically, our Care Management team stops whatever they are doing to respond to the urgent care case and we will do whatever it takes to deliver a qualified caregiver to provide the required services. Urgent Care requests have top priority for staffing and it’s usually a care of all hands on deck. While we cannot promise same day delivery, we will always do our best to do so. If we can’t fill a request then we will refund the Urgent Care deposit.

Since our Care staff members have schedules that are two week’s out or more, it may take us some time to accommodate new service requests, especially if all of our care staff members are currently scheduled. In these cases, we will typically authorize whatever overtime is needed to staff the request. We will also run specialized recruitment ads and fast track the hiring process if there are special needs. We can also bring in Care Staff from our sister offices in Everett and Seattle as a last resort. The fee surcharge allows us to act fast and decisively.

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of the first week’s service fees is required to secure the service. Once the deposit is received, we will have our Care Management staff put your case on the top of the priority list for staffing. We do not try to staff urgent shifts without a deposit, as we need to start changing our care staff’s schedules and do not wish to disturb these if a prospective is only shopping for options. Once you decide to make the request and arrange to make the deposit we will staff the shifts. If for some reason we are unable to staff a request, either fully or partially, we will refund the pro-rated amount of the deposit.
