10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
The Dementia Simulation is a must for everyone caring for individuals suffering from any form or level of dementia. The purpose of this training is to help caregivers better identify with their loved one's day-to-day struggles, thereby improving their ability to provide care. Learning to create a positive environment for those with Dementia can only come from attempting to walk in their shoes.

We had an amazing time at the Madison Jobe Senior Expo this week! Here’s a great image(below, left) of Kamlesh talking with some of the most amazing seniors we’ve meet in Pasadena!
This is a great picture(above, right) of Dave & Kamlesh hanging out with Mayor of Pasadena, Jeff Wagner! We were honored to meet everyone at the event, and are all appreciative of the folks at the Madison Jobe Senior Center for putting this event together. Our heart-centric caregiving efforts are what drives our agency to provide the best service we can possibly offer.
Pasadena Breakfast Mixer at the Waterford at Deer Park | May 4, 2017
The Waterford at Deer Park is a wonderful Individual Living Community. Their front lobby and dining area are immaculate, and the perfect place to hold a Mixer where folks can interact with one another, meet new people and network.
(Left)Around 8 a.m., our sign-in table and banner was set up and ready for the Breakfast Mixer!
(Right)The combination of fresh fruit, juice, hot coffee & doughnuts and a unique plateful of monkey bread filled our green-colored banner tablecloth full of wonderful breakfast choices and refreshments.
(Below Left)This a great picture of Perry Hanson, of Surgery Specialty Hospitals of America, and Right at Home’s very own Kamlesh Chawla, enjoying a playful moment and one hot cup of coffee.
(Above Right)Enjoying the morning light through the big, wonderful windows at the Waterford at Deer Park, a group of folks have a delicious breakfast snack, and enjoy one another’s company.
(Above)Donna Ballard, Right at Home’s Marketing and Care Coordinator, is at the center of an engaging conversation about servicing our community, not just as individual companies, but a community of healthcare professionals.
This was the first of many Breakfast Mixers to come, and we thank everyone that came out to the event, and look forward to seeing everyone next month!
CAP of Clear Lake Meeting | March 16, 2017
We went to the monthly CAP of Clear Lake meeting to meet our community partners, and work with an organization that makes a difference in the community.
Community Assistance Providers of Clear Lake (CAP) is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life for indigent and less fortunate individuals of the Bay Area Community by providing assistance through our Community Assistance Providers Fund. Assistance can vary from providing prescription medicine or utility payments to purchasing wheelchairs and hospital beds.
We look forward to our next meeting at CAP of Clear Lake!
Bingo at Primrose | March 9, 2017
The senior residents at Primrose of Pasadena took over and ran the bingo themselves during a bright, sunny Tuesday afternoon in Pasadena.
These are just some of the prizes available to Seniors during a fun game of bingo. The prizes are geared towards the realistic needs of seniors, whether they are struggling with mobility issues or health concerns like diabetes or dementia, everyone needs the basics.
The everyday products like soap and toothpaste and paper towels become more important as we become older. And, so does bingo!
Zumba Class and Juice Bar in Houston | March 7, 2017
After a fun Zumba class at Hampshire Court Apartments, the wonderful senior residents were treated with a juice bar.
The creative and delicious choice between carrot-orange-ginger and apple-pomegranate juices were available. The juice blends were more like carbonated-vegetable, savory soda beverages rather than a boring, tasteless vegetable juice. They were drinks to be savored, especially on a warm Houston spring afternoon.
Primetimers in Pasadena | February 28, 2017
Primetimers is an event held in Pasadena that caters to Christian Seniors of any denomination. This event helps senior citizens find companionship within their own community. If you’re helping your mother or father with companionship oriented needs, and trying to assist your parents in finding more community, Primetimers is an excellent resource.
It’s a Luncheon that has sponsored speakers and entertainment, and helps organize trips across Houston for Seniors that are healthy to those with mobility concerns.
At this past event, the main speaker was City of Pasadena, Councilmen, Jeff Wagner. Read about his dedication to community service.
The most important part of the Luncheon, the cake, was sponsored by Right at Home, Pasadena! We have been supporting this event for the past year, and look forward to continue helping Seniors improve their quality of life regardless of their situation.
Bingo at Wyndham Park Apartments | February 27, 2017
Right at Home was helping call the numbers during a game of bingo.
The famed "trouble makers" having fun laughing and joking around with everyone before bingo.
To get the event started, the Activities Director passed out bingo cards to al the residents.
One of the wonderful winners picking out a prize after BINGO!
We had a lot of fun playing bingo with all the residents and look forward to the next game.

Birthday Surprise | February 18, 2016
Our office had the honor of wishing one of our favorite client's a very happy 79th birthday. We surprised him with a singing Elvis Presley balloon, cake and card. He was so happy and surprised that we took time out to come and see him. As you can see in this picture, his smile speaks volume as to how happy was. Happy Birthday Mr. Moss!
