Joe Concialdi - Vice President of Business Development
As the Vice President of Business Development, it is incredibly important to have a passion and love for the home care business, luckily it’s been a part of my life for years. Caring has and always will be one of my major passions. Luckily through Right at Home I can fulfill this passion by taking care of our clients. I practically raised my 2 younger sisters and brother by myself, and I raised 3 wonderful children with my wife Renee. These experiences, as well as my BSA in Communications and Computer Management helped me to succeed for nearly 20 years in the sales industry. Through those 20 years I went from Corporate Sales to Life Insurance, and even Home and Life, always looking to see where I could help most. I believe that through all of these experiences I can successfully lead our great team of marketers to truly nurture and grow the territories and families we serve with top-notch and quality care.
Renee Concialdi - President
Caregiving is a gift and passion that Renée developed at early age supporting a family member with a disability. This experience made Renée realize how critical it is for those in need, to have the ability to stay Right at Home, where they are happy and comfortable with skilled support from those who care.
Renée was born and raised in Pasadena California, and three generations of her family lived, worked and contributed to the community. She and her husband entered the home care field in 2014, providing senior care services in Pasadena, San Gabriel and West Covina through their agency Right at Home.
Renée brings 20+ years of executive leadership managing organizations and teams locally, nationally and globally. Her experience spans a broad range of areas in client service, relationship, communication and operations management, compliance, product, program, financial and risk management. Renée’s broad executive experience positioned her well to transition from corporate leadership to business ownership in an area perfectly matched to her passion to help others, utilizing her strong foundation of continued caregiving and business success.
She is a board member and treasurer of the Convalescent Aid Society – a non-profit organization providing free loan of durable medical equipment to our community, a member of the Pasadena Senior Center Zest Committee that helps bring support to the non-profit senior center, and a member of the Methodist Hospital Women Investing in Nurses Committee and Club 300 that support the non-profit 5-Star Hospital. Renée is also an active member in the Arcadia, San Gabriel, and San Marino Chambers of Commerce, a supporter of the Greater Los Angeles Alzheimer's Organization events. Her office sponsors the Alzheimer's Café—a free monthly coffee, learn & chat for people facing or impacted by the disease.
Amber Bolanos - Vice President of Human Resources and Operations
Prior to joining Right at Home, Amber Bolanos had spent 8 years working with at-risk youths at a non-profit organization that focused on mental health and rehabilitation services in the Los Angeles area. She began her career with the organization as an HR Assistant, then soon after was promoted to Human Resources Generalist, where she helped to oversee the daily functions of the Human Resources Office including Recruiting and compliance with state regulations.
Amber comes from a family of caregivers. She has seen her mom work as a caregiver both personally for her grandmother and professionally with other families. It has always been something she is familiar with, so she was excited to join the team in 2014. Amber has been a leader of the team, helping create and maintain company polices and ensure the work ethics of our caregivers adhere to Right at Home's Mission Statement. She enjoys working with her team and making sure our clients get the care they need and deserve.
Ashley Griffin - Human Resources and Operations
Ashley Griffin joined Right at Home in 2010 as a a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing care for Right at Home's clients. Ashley provided top notch quality care and demonstrated the skill and ethics of Right at Home, and in 2014 was promoted into a new role as HR Assistant, Recruiter and Field Supervisor of our caregivers. Ashley's talent continues to grow and she is currently leading our office as the Supervisor of HR and Operations.
Before joining Right at Home Pasadena she was a private care nurse. Ashley says that caring runs in her family. "I have a caring family, my mother and grandmother have always worked as private caregivers so it's just second nature to me," she says. Both her mother and grandmother were professional caregivers. “Helping others to stay independent is one of the most gratifying feelings to experience,” says Ashley.
Raquel Caros Mancillas -Client Care Coordinator
Raquel graduated from Everest college in 2008. She is a certified medical assistant (CMA), certified nursing assistant (CNA) and certified phlebotomy technician (CPT). She had worked at the Huntington Memorial Hospital as a Phlebotomy Technician and at Garfield Hospital in Monterey Park for 4 years. She started to work in assisted living facilities until she found Right at Home.
Raquel joined Right at Home in 2011. Since then, Raquel has grown from individual caregiving to taking her passion and skill in this area to managing the care, creating custom care plans and caregiver skills and talent matching to the needs of our clients.
“My true passion for care-giving started at a very young age caring for my grandparents. I learned the importance of care-giving as I supported them through the aging process that was complicated by both disease and mental health challenges,” says Raquel Caro Mancillas. “I’m nothing but proud of being there for them.”
Caring for her grandparents motivated Raquel to pursue a career in healthcare. She really started her career in home care taking care of both of them. She's nothing but proud for being there for them in those years. She states that she's gained strength, courage, and confidence by every experience she had caring for them and others. This is her passion.
Sergio Cortez - Associate HR Representative
Sergio joined Right at Home Pasadena in 2013. Sergio began his career with Right at Home providing excellent care for our clients both in private homes and in senior communities. Sergio quickly became a go to point for care questions, and took on added support roles in the senior communities where he provided care from Right at Home. Sergio has a passion to learn, and expressed his desire to learn and grow with Right at Home. As a result, Sergio was recently promoted into his current role as Associate HR Representative, and is now recruiting, hiring, training and coaching our caregiving team members.
His first step into the medical field was in High School when he was offered a free Dental Assistant class. After a couple years of being a dental assistant, he enrolled himself in a nursing program where he received his nursing assistant and home health certificate. Sergio gained most of his experience working in a Japanese nursing home in Los Angeles in the afternoons while working a morning job as a Home Health Aide (HHA) for kids with special needs.
Helping others has always been something he enjoys doing. Sergio believes he gets that from his mother. Both his grandmother and mother were caregivers at one point, as caring for others runs in his family. Almost every member of Sergio's family is dedicated to the medical field, which is how Sergio knew it was the right place for him to be, providing the care, compassion and empathy he has for those in need.
Sausha Sherbin - Business Development Coordinator
Sausha has been with Right at Home Pasadena since January of 2019. She earned her degree in Speech Communication from UCLA and worked in home care for one year before joining the Right at Home team.
She worked as a business consultant prior to entering the healthcare industry for over 10 years providing clients with expertise in strategic planning, performance management and product brand development. Sausha acquired her RCFE (Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly) Administrator's certification, however, her focus and passion quickly became working in Home Care vs. Assisted Living.
Sausha is responsible for the coordination and execution of sales and marketing strategies within the local market for the ongoing management of existing referral sources and the development of new opportunities to serve those that need our type of home care services. She is actively involved in multiple local networking groups all with a focus in providing services to seniors.
Through caring for her father who passed from Alzheimer's and witnessing the gradual physical and mental decline of her mother from advanced dementia, Sausha gained the personal passion to help others. She also volunteered at an Assisted Living Facility as the assistant to the activities director for over 2 years which also provided her with a special motivation for taking the path into senior care.
