Our topic this month is "Driving, Dementia, and the DMV" presented by Lisa Bricker, Senior Care Consultant and Alzheimer's Specialist.
Lisa is an Alzheimer's and Dementia Placement Specialist, Life Coach and a family caregiver for her husband Gary who at age 63 was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's 5 years ago. She knows and lives this long journey firsthand and is an avid advocate for families with guidance, support, and resources for family caregivers and those seeking balance, inspiration and senior living options. Lisa is a long standing Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation. She was on the Coaching Faculty for the Executive MBA Program for Loyola Marymount University and is also actively involved in our local community focused on senior services and Alzheimer's Los Angeles where she serves on the Public Policy Committee, Programs Committee, Speaker's Bureau and is helping to foster dementia friendly communities in the San Gabriel Valley.
