Grant Hamilton, Administrator
Grant is the Administrator of Right at Home Greater Portland. Grant has an entrepreneurial background having owned a variety of service related businesses over the past 20 plus years. After relocating back to his native Oregon in 2007 to be closer to his aging parents he spent more than a year looking for a business that would be both rewarding and yet have strong upside growth potential. A business in the home care industry ultimately ended up being the perfect fit and he thus purchased the local Right at Home franchise in August of 2008. Grant graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Business Administration.
Jacob Munoz, Managing Director
Jacob is the Managing Director of Right at Home Great Portland. He is a native Californian having been born and raised in Orange County. After attending Fullerton College he worked in the medical device industry as a Planner/Buyer, as well as an Internal Auditor, for various medical device manufacturers and for Gateway, Western Digital and RS Medical. His experience in working with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR's) proved to be very valuable in developing Right at Home's comprehensive policies and procedures which strictly adhere to the Oregon Administrative Rules and Regulations (OAR's) for in home care agencies. Jacob also brings many years of management experience to the Right at Home team and has been instrumental in helping to manage the growth of both our staff and our customer base.
Marisa Ah Nee, Operations Manager
Marisa joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in August 2017 as the Operations Manager. Marisa comes to Right at Home with experience in Human Resources and Operations in the Home Health industry. She has always had a passion to help others. Prior to working in home health, Marisa worked with a non-profit company that provided medical equipment, and dental procedures to the community. Marisa graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Public Health with an option in Management and Policy, and a Minor in Business. She will oversee the daily management of the care-giving staff, manage the compliance of Right at Home and will be taking the lead in ensuring our customers receive the best service in the industry.
Kelly Kyser, Operations Supervisor/Billing and Payroll
Kelly joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in July 2017 as the Operations Supervisor. Prior to joining Right At Home, she studied Accounting at Portland State University. She comes to us with a vast knowledge of medical billing with experience in pediatrics, mental health, acupuncture, primary care and hospice. She managed a pediatric office for over 7 years and is certified in pediatric coding through the AAPC. In addition to her experience in the medical field, Kelly also ran her family retail store located in Cannon Beach for 4 years. Although she enjoyed the family business, her passion has always been in the health industry. Kelly along with the Operations Manager will ensure our customers and caregivers receive the best customer service in the industry with the emphases of Billing and Payroll.
Kristy Farrar, Client Care Supervisor
Kristy joined Right at Home Greater Portland in August 2012 as the Client Care Coordinator. She brings with her 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining Right at Home Kristy worked at various Long Term Care facilities, Assisted Living facilities, a Home Health agency and a Hospice agency where she obtained specialized training in Alzheimer's and Dementia care. She loves making a difference in peoples' lives and takes joy in keeping them independent in their homes; it has been her passion and love since caring for her grandmother while she was on hospice. Kristy assures our customers receive the best possible service and takes great pride in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. Kristy is also responsible for all initial client assessments as well as our outreach program.
Wendy Asher, Staffing Coordinator/Weekend Admin
Wendy joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in November of 2016. Wendy comes to Right at Home with years of experience as a Vocational Rehab Counselor, Secretarial Services and Business Owner. She holds an Associate of Applied Science - Computer Information Systems and Associate of Applied Science - Networking Focus from Portland Community College. She will assure our customers receive the best possible service in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. She will also be responsible for the daily recruiting and scheduling interviews of our applicants as well as oversees the weekend on-call position.
Amber Allen, Staffing Coordinator/Weekend Admin
Amber joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in July 2013. Amber started working for Right at Home as a CNA, and was promoted to a Staffing Coordinator/Weekend Admin position. She comes to Right at Home with years of experience as a Scheduler, CNA and a Certified Health Coach. Amber holds a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Management. She will assure our customers receive the best possible service in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. She will also be responsible for the daily recruiting and scheduling interviews of our applicants as well as oversees the weekend on-call position.
Gail Melendrez, Business Development Manager
Gail joined the Right at Home Greater Portland care team in April 2017. Gail brings more than 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry and brings a BA, Social Science from PSU. Gail long served physicians, discharge planners, hospice organizations, home health companies, skilled nursing facilities, senior housing organizations in her role as Senior Community Outreach Representative for Providence Home Services. She most recently worked for Legacy Health in a dual role of Liaison for the Epic provisioning program and program development for the newly formed Legacy Health Partners, a clinically integrated network. Having arranged in-home care and more for her own parents as they aged, she understands what seniors and their families go through when looking for support and care. Gail will be responsible for the marketing in the Tri-Counties (Clackamas, Washington and Multnomah), creating and cultivating ongoing partnerships with the communities.
Julie Davy, Registered Nurse
Julie joined the Right at Home Greater Portland care team in February 2017. Julie comes to Right at Home with an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN), with a specialty training in the Cardiac Progress Care Unit (PCU) and Telemetry. Julie completed her ADN studies at Olympic College Poulsbo, WA in 2008. Her RN experience was based in St. Joseph Medical Center, Tacoma WA, Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton, WA and Travel RN, Portland, OR. She is responsible for overseeing the nursing service needs of our Right at Home clients. In addition, she will also provide ongoing education/training to our caregiving staff throughout the years.
