Grant Hamilton, Administrator
Grant is the Administrator of Right at Home Greater Portland. Grant has an entrepreneurial background having owned a variety of service related businesses over the past 20 plus years. After relocating back to his native Oregon in 2007 to be closer to his aging parents he spent more than a year looking for a business that would be both rewarding and yet have strong upside growth potential. A business in the home care industry ultimately ended up being the perfect fit and he thus purchased the local Right at Home franchise in August of 2008. Grant graduated from the University of Oregon with a BS in Business Administration.
Jacob Munoz, Managing Director
Jacob is the Managing Director of Right at Home Great Portland. He is a native Californian having been born and raised in Orange County. After attending Fullerton College he worked in the medical device industry as a Planner/Buyer, as well as an Internal Auditor, for various medical device manufacturers and for Gateway, Western Digital and RS Medical. His experience in working with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR's) proved to be very valuable in developing Right at Home's comprehensive policies and procedures which strictly adhere to the Oregon Administrative Rules and Regulations (OAR's) for in home care agencies. Jacob also brings many years of management experience to the Right at Home team and has been instrumental in helping to manage the growth of both our staff and our customer base.
Kristy Farrar, Client Care Supervisor
Kristy joined Right at Home Greater Portland in August 2012 as the Client Care Coordinator. She brings with her 20 years of experience in the health care industry. Prior to joining Right at Home Kristy worked at various Long Term Care facilities, Assisted Living facilities, a Home Health agency and a Hospice agency where she obtained specialized training in Alzheimer's and Dementia care. She loves making a difference in peoples' lives and takes joy in keeping them independent in their homes; it has been her passion and love since caring for her grandmother while she was on hospice. Kristy assures our customers receive the best possible service and takes great pride in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. Kristy is also responsible for all initial client assessments as well as our outreach program.
Angela Galanis, LMT, CLT, Staffing - Recruiting Coordinator/Weekend Admin
Angela joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in June 2019. Angela comes to Right at Home with 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry as a caregiver, scheduler/staffing coordinator, hospice massage therapist and administration. Angela attended East West College of the Healing Arts and graduated with an LMT (License Massage Therapy), she also poses a CLT (Certified Lymphedema Therapist).
She will assure our customers receive the best possible service in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. She will also be responsible for the recruiting, scheduling interviews of our applicants, orientation and will oversee the weekend on-call position.
Carla Rotan, Staffing Coordinator/Weekend Admin
Carla joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in January 2018. Carla comes to Right at Home with 7 years of experience as an in home care Caregiver, Client Care Coordinator and Scheduler. Carla attended Portland Community College with an emphasis on geriatrics coursework including; computer applications, writing, sociology and psychology. She will assure our customers receive the best possible service in matching client and caregiver's personalities as well as matching caregiver skills and abilities to each client's needs. She will also be responsible for the daily recruiting and scheduling interviews of our applicants as well as oversees the weekend on-call position.
Salina Skelton, Billing and Payroll Manager
Salina joined the Right at Home Greater Portland team in January 2019 as the Billing and Payroll Manager. Prior to joining Right At Home, she was a Client Care Coordinator/Medicaid – LTCCN Progam Administrator and brings a vast knowledge of In Home Care experience. She brings an Associate of Arts in Health Administration from The University of Phoenix. In addition to her experience in the medical field, Salina will bring impeccable written and verbal communication skills and an excellent interpersonal skill set. Salina will ensure our customers and caregivers receive the best customer service in the industry with the emphases of Billing and Payroll.
Patty Schamp, Registered Nurse
Patty joined the Right at Home Greater Portland care team in August 2019. Patty comes to Right at Home with an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN). She completed her ADN studies at Portland Community College (PCC) and has been certified as a Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class, US Navy (1974-1978) and worked at the Naval Regional Medical Center and Recruit Training Center, San Diego, CA. Patty has been an RN for over 20 years and enjoys visiting the elderly in their homes. She is responsible for overseeing the nursing service needs of our Right at Home clients. In addition, she will also provide ongoing education/training to our caregiving staff throughout the years.
