Living Well at Robson Ranch
Living Well at Robson Ranch” is the annual health fair held at this amazing community every year with more than 100 vendors and a huge assistance from all community and visitors from all around Denton. We spend a great time sharing all Right at Home can do for seniors in the area. As always we had an amazing time and look forward to come again next year.
Aging Life Care Association Annual Conference
November 9th the Aging Life Care Association, held their annual conference with a great turn out of around 70 Geriatric Care Managers attending to the event from Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Right at Home Rhome along with other owners attended the event proudly representing Right at Home agencies from all around Texas.
Pillow Case Challenge in Bridgeport
Lovely ladies at Wise County Quilt Guild in Bridgeport Texas, joined the Right at Home 2018 Pillow Case challenge and made 60 pillowcases which will bring a lot of smiles to residents at nursing homes in all Wise County. God bless you all!
Ice Cream Party in Weatherford
Arbor House of Weatherford residents enjoyed ice cream for their afternoon social activity on Wednesday, June 29. Jenny, the Activity Director, and Taryn Rottman with Right at Home – Rhome, served up the ever popular Blue Bell ice cream and of course a cherry on top.
One resident said “it was awesome and nothing better than awesome”. It was our pleasure to bring a summertime treat to the sweet residents of Arbor House of Weatherford.
Caregiver Appreciation
Summer is hot and so is Right at Home in Rhome, Texas - showing how much we appreciate our caregivers and CNA’s, sharing Ice Cream and cookies with all our caregivers.
We really enjoyed having them coming to the office and sharing a good conversation and Ice Cream, nothing like a good cold treat to ease the heat. Thank you to all who made it, look forward to see you all soon
National Senior Health and Fitness Day in Decatur
It is always a pleasure to spend time with the community, and better if we are Celebrating the National Senior Health & Fitness Day with the community at Decatur, Wise County. This was a great networking event, sharing exercise activities with all seniors, healthy snacks and giveaways. Look forward to participate again next year!
Ice Cream Social in Weatherford
As the temperatures finally start warming up, residents at Weatherford Town Center cooled down with some yummy Blue Bell ice cream. Right at Home, Rhome sponsored an Ice Cream Social at the independent Senior Living Community off Tin Top Road in Weatherford. There was a great turn out and we enjoyed ice cream and wonderful stories. It was such a great treat, we look forward to doing it again soon.
Robson Ranch Health Fair
We had the great pleasure to attend the 14th annual Robson Ranch Health Fair. We shared our services with several members of this nice community and connected with other wellness companies near Robson Ranch and around Denton area. Even though was a cold and windy day, community got together supporting this event. This was a great event, we look forward to participate again next year.
Decatur Health Fair
On March 24th we had the opportunity to participate in the Wise County Health Fair at the Decatur Civic Center. Families from all around the area came to participate in all the fun activities that took place that day. We felt so proud of having the chance to promote our In Home care services as we strengthen our ties with the Wise County community. Look forward to participate in the future!
Pancake Breakfast in Weatherford
On March 8th, Right at Home Rhome hosted a Pancake Breakfast and Pajama Party at the Gardens of Weatherford. This is a peaceful, 55 and Better Community tucked away in a quiet country setting at 300 Garden Lane in Weatherford, Texas. During the breakfast, Agency Owner, Pilar Suarez and Marketing Representative, Taryn Rottman served up pancakes while Cassandra and Emily with Gardens of Weatherford helped with sausage.
There were about 25 residents who came to enjoy hot cakes, sausage and strawberries provided by Right at Home. Several of residents came to the Club House sporting their pajamas and robes ready to eat homemade flap jacks. Right at Home was able to take this opportunity to talk to them about the outstanding in home care service we provide. This event was a great success and we look forward to hosting another in the future.
Health Fair in Granbury
On February 22, Lakestone Terrace Senior Living Community in Granbury, hosted a Health Fair with in their beautiful Senior Living Community. Right at Home was invited as an available resource to the seniors. Kelly Baker, our Staffing Coordinator and Taryn Rottman, our Marketing Representative set up a patriotic Winter Olympic themed table with gold medal chocolates for giveaways. They also had a fun “Dinner and a Movie Celebration” door prize drawing. The lucky winner of the “Dinner and Movie” was Ms. Marilyn Ellis, who resides at Laskestone Terrace. Even though the weather was bad, the fair was a success and Right at Home is looking forward to participating again next year.
DFW Parkinson's Disease Moving Day

Texas Owners Meeting
Right at Home Rhome owners, Pilar Suarez and Dario Lara, attended to the annual meeting with Texas owners in Waco, Texas. Were able to meet other owners, share and learn experiences with the same goal, provide the best care for seniors and their families, and support our caregivers.
Alzheimer's Association Seminar
We participated on this great Seminar Saturday October 21st, presented by The Alzheimer Association and Saint Andrews Parish Nurses, giving information and support to the Hispanic Community affected by Alzheimer disease as well and their families and caregivers.
Health Fair in Weatherford
We attended the 8th Annual Community Health Fair in Weatherford. This wonderful event was held at the First United Methodist Church’s Family Life Center. There were vendors from local hospitals, hospice companies, home health and other health care providers. It was a nice community turn out and all proceeds went to a local food pantry. We were happy to be able to be a part of this event in Parker County.

Tarrant Area Gerontological Society Summer Forum
We attended to the Tarrant Area Gerontological Society held on July 25th, designed to inspire, educate and motivate professionals in the field of aging. We had a great opportunity to meet with other professionals in this field.

This event was held Saturday, March 25th at the Decatur Civic Center. We had a wonderful turnout from the community.
Wise County Senior Health Expo
On Monday Right at Home, Rhome attended the Wise County Senior Health & Expo in Bridgeport, TX. Debbie Bounds of Hospice Plus of Bridgeport and Carla Garrett Home Health Care of North Central Texas were the sponsors and it was held at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
Weatherford Health Fair
On Saturday, October 1, 2016 Right at Home, Rhome attended the 6th Annual Health Fair at the First United Methodist Church in Weatherford, Texas.
Texas Owners Group Meeting
On Friday the Texas Right at Home Owners Group held its annual meeting at the Doubletree Hotel in Austin, Texas. It was a very informative time for all. Together we shared best practices in the areas of Office Administration/Internal Staffing, Internet Marketing, Caregiver Recruiting, Training and Retention. Age-U-Cate provided presentations on the “Dementia LIVE” and “Compassionate Touch” programs which are designed to assist in the care and better understanding of our clients with dementia.
Special thanks to the corporate staff members who made the trip down and participated in the meeting and as well as the owners who took a leadership role in making it all happen. We look forward to next year’s meeting which is scheduled to be held in Waco and hosted by the Waco Right at Home Team.
Mineral Wells Senior Center Family Expo
On Sept. 9th, Right at Home Rhome had the pleasure of participating in the Mineral Wells Family Expo. The event was held at The First Baptist Church in Mineral Wells from 8:30 – noon. There were all types of vendors there promoting safe, healthy lifestyle choices and even flu shots, health screenings and many door prizes. The event was sponsored and promoted by Linda Gilley of the Mineral Wells Senior Center. It was a fun time for attendees and vendors alike! Right at Home Rhome appreciates the opportunity to participate in this important expo and our continued relationship with the Mineral Wells community.
