Right at Home Can Assist With the Safety and Health of Employees in the Workplace
During this difficult time, Right at Home Rock Hill is doing our best to stay safe and healthy. As an employer, you have the added difficulty of also doing your best to keep your employees out of harm’s way and to provide a safe environment to anyone coming in contact with them. In an effort to control the spread of COVID-19, many employers are choosing to perform “fit tests” or “thermal screenings” for anyone entering and/or exiting the premises.
Detecting Employee Temperature Plus Screening Questions Prior to Shift
Thermal Screenings are a safeguard put in place to detect if the employee has a temperature and/or common symptoms. By asking specific questions, we are able to learn if they may be indicative of a viral infection. While our traditional service is providing personal care to seniors and those living with disabilities, we have also begun working with employers to help protect their employees and their work environment.
Who Will Be Screened?
Screening would include anyone entering the premises: employees, customers, family members, healthcare providers, and suppliers.
Screenings Don't Always Guarantee Prevention But Can Be Helpful
While we certainly cannot guarantee the prevention or spread of disease, we can do our part to assist in screening those that may be infected.
