Albano Mahilaj

Owner

My wife and I have always had a connection with our parents and grandparents. To this date we take care of both our parents in many different aspects. Mostly, we have cared for my mother after her several hospitalizations. In addition we are parents of an autistic boy and will likely always care for him. Being part of the home care industry to us, is more than a business, is giving back to those who need someone by their side at all times.

Albano is a Doctorate Candidate- Business Administration Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Bachelor in Finance. He worked for a local hospital system for several years, and after that ran a cleaning business for four years. Before getting into Right at Home he worked as real estate project manager for government project along with being a realtor.

He has lived in the Rocky River area for over 15 years and is acquainted with locals very well. He also understand the different make ups of the community and also the diversity of it. He's grateful to be able to serve seniors and those who need in home care assistance in Rocky River and surrounding communities.

"I have been working with Albano and Right at Home for the past 6 months. His company has worked hard to provide excellent care to our families in our caregiver relief program. He and his staff are terrific communicators, frequently providing updates on any change in status or care needs.

The families that are receiving care from Right at Home have all expressed how happy they are with the service being provided by their staff. These families often come to us feeling overwhelmed and stressed in their current situation and receiving no respite care. Upon receiving care through Right at Home, these families tell us how helpful their staff have been in their time of need and that they feel at ease leaving their loved one in their care

I would not hesitate to recommend Right at Home to anyone in need of assistance in their home, particularly families that are dealing with a loved one with dementia."

Free Wheelchair Mission

Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.

As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.

Recently, 70 Right at Home offices came together to support Josiah’s House by supplying everyday items for the children of Josiah’s House. The group delivered suitcases full of clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and other supplies.
