Dan Parker, Owner
Dan Parker - Owner of Right at Home Sacramento
When Dan Parker left the U.S. Navy from his last duty station, Moffet Field Naval Air Station, in Mountain View, CA., he jumped into the exciting world of high technology. From building printed circuit boards to building computer systems with start-up Sun Microsystems. Dan spent the next 30+ years working in manufacturing environments as senior management responsible for production of high quality products. Owning a home care business was not yet on his radar.
In 2007, Dan was then Director of Operations for a Semi-Conductor Equipment Manufacturing Company in Morgan Hill, Ca. He decided to make a move to the Sacramento area where he met and then married Jill Blackwelder, Associate Vice Chancellor at U.C. Davis. While planning his move, it became clear that manufacturing had few opportunities in the Sacramento area. After doing their research, Dan and Jill made the decision to start a business by working with Right at Home, Inc. a provider of home care for seniors and disabled adults headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska.
After completing training in Omaha, Dan and Jill opened the doors on Right at Home Sacramento-Davis in February of 2008. Dan and Jill liked the idea of being able to give back to the community and felt Right at Home was very well positioned to do so. Now in their tenth year of business providing care for seniors and their families all over the Sacramento region, they look back on the service they have been able to provide with a sense of accomplishment. Dan and Jill Parker have positioned Right at Home Sacramento-Davis to continue forward as a premier provider of home care and staffing services to families and senior care communities in Metro Sacramento.
Dan works today to try and bring the same kind of efficiency he was able to build into manufacturing operations into his Right at Home operation through continuous improvement and use of technology to streamline the organization. With hard work, the building of a strong staff, and a lot of perseverance, Dan and his team have built an effective home care business that provides excellent care in the Metro area. With an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, membership in Right at Home’s President Circle, and his recent election by his peers to the Franchise Advisory Council, Dan is set to provide leadership in the Right at Home system as well as his own business here in Sacramento well into the future.
Although being a small business owner is always challenging, particularly in an industry that is seeing dynamic changes, Dan feels that he and his team are on the right track. He often tells his staff and employees that it is always about doing the right thing, making the best decisions you can each and every day, and the rest will take care of itself. And, oh yeah, “Failure is Not an Option.”
Lyndsey Franceschi - Vice President/COO
Hello everyone! My name is Lyndsey Franceschi and I am the Vice President/COO for Right at Home where we provide in-home care and assistance to seniors and disabled adults. Since starting with Right at Home in 2011, I have learned many aspects of the in-home care industry.
Some of these areas include managing the office and doing the hands-on staffing, as well as marketing, conducting client assessments, and overseeing daily operations.
After I graduated High School I attended Community College while working full time as a customer service representative at a local corrugated box plant and then a chemical Management company. Shortly after marrying my high school sweetheart, Rob, my Dad asked me to move to Sacramento to work for his in-home care company. Although it was a big move for us, it seemed like good timing and a great opportunity to do something I was passionate about. In fact, once we moved Rob’s grandparents needed around-the-clock care and so we cared for both until they passed, which was an honor to be able to do for them. I always tell myself “everything happens for a reason.”
Just like any other field, we face challenges, but the smiles on our client’s faces as well as the peace of mind of their loved ones keeps me driven to being the best, because every one of our clients deserve it. Since then, I feel very fulfilled that we have been able to help so many people stay in their homes longer than they would have without the help.
Throughout the years, I have learned a lot not only about the senior care industry and how it operates, but I have also learned a lot about life and more importantly, quality of life. Since I started at Right at Home I have become a mother to two wonderful children: My Son, RJ and my daughter, Amaleah. I choose to live my life to the fullest, doing what I love, and spending my time with whom mean the most to me. I have always believed that we should treat others as we would like to be treated and this shines bright in the senior community. I will keep striving to increase the standard of care so that we can continue to add quality of life to our clients and show people what aging in place should really look like.

Tianna Ayala - Staffing Coordinator
My name is Tianna Ayala and I am the staffing coordinator for Right at Home Sacramento. I have 3 children and 1 dog at home and I’ve been married for 4 years. I love spending time with my family and watching my kids learn and try new things. I also enjoy helping out at church when I have extra time.
I have been with Right at Home since April 2018. My role with Right at Home is to oversee all staffing needs for the company. I develop work schedules by allocating employees in shifts and positions. I love staffing because I get to match caregivers and clients together who sometimes develop great bonds together. It makes me happy when I have made a good match.
Prior to coming to Right at Home I was in management at a store that did a lot of outreach to the community by providing vouchers for clothing and furniture to those in need. I’ve always had a heart to help those in need and to give back to those who need a helping hand.
Vanessa Ball - Field Supervisor
Hi! My name is Venessa Ball, I am the Field Supervisor at Right at Home. Within my role at Right at Home I serve as a support person to both our clients and caregivers, provide ongoing training for caregivers, and assist with scheduling. My time is split between the office and the field, I really enjoy being able to visit the clients in their homes in order to ensure they are safe and happy with our service.
My background is in Caregiving, Administrative work, Staffing and Accounting, and has provided the knowledge needed to support our caregivers to become successful at providing the best care to our clients. I have aided many clients and family members in the hospice and dying process. I often get asked, “isn’t it hard watching someone you care about die?” While I agree that it is extremely difficult to sit bedside throughout the stages of dying, I find comfort in knowing that I can help to bring peace to them in their final days.
I am a Bay Area native, though I lived in Sacramento during my teenage years. I have been married to my longtime childhood friend for 9 years and have two wonderful children, a 5 year old daughter, and 15 month old son. Additionally, I’m a Girl Scouts Troop Leader and Catechism teacher. I have 6 years of experience in the caregiving field both professionally and personally. I am passionate about Senior Care; most importantly the connection between Caregiver and client.
