Our Right at Home Salem-Marblehead team participated in a dinner service project with the Community Meals Program at Lifebridge in February. Our group prepared, cooked and served a warm and healthy meal for those in need in town. We served a total of 87 people and ten to-go meals for first responders and downtown city workers.

Right at Home Salem Marblehead's Monthly Memory Café in Marblehead, will not be meeting for the months of January, February and March of 2019. The café will resume in the spring of April 2019 and will meet the second Tuesday of the month.

Celeste Begley, Community Relations Director of Right at Home Boston and North, became the 39th member to be inducted into the Business Networking International (BNI). BNI is a franchised networking organization. It has 7,500 affiliated local chapters worldwide with over 200,000 members. Its members meet on a regular basis to discuss business and support each other by sharing referral sources.

Community cafés are growing in popularity and are now popping up all over towns and cities across the country and throughout the world. The latest trend in the café world, are Death Cafes. These new social gathering spaces, have evolved to take on a new meaning, where they have now become more of a communal setting for individuals to discuss topics and swap ideas.

On Thursday September 8th, 2017 Rotary Club of Marblehead and Right at Home teamed up to deliver ice cream to seniors in Marblehead, MA. Together we delivered 75 ice cream sundaes to local elders.

Operation Back to School

Memory Cafés are a welcoming and safe place for individuals with any type of dementias or cognitive impairment. They provide a space for individuals, caregivers, loved ones, friends and those affected by dementia or cognitive impairment to meet others, have discussions, play games, and enjoy themselves.
