We are tremendously proud of our exceptional team and their continual dedication and commitment to improving the quality of life for those we serve. For over 15 years we have dedicated ourselves to making a difference in our community, in the lives of seniors, and in the lives of families each day and will continue to do so.
Our CareTeam Nurses: Ioana, Brenda and Janessa
Brenda Forster, RN, Director of Nursing
Brenda Forster aspired to become a nurse at a young age. At 22, Her first childbirth experience motivated her to pursue the dream. “I was scared and in a lot of pain when in labor with my first daughter. A young nurse just a little older than me stayed by my side throughout her entire shift—checking on me and providing everything I need. She had the kindest personality and inspired me to offer the same compassionate care towards others,” says Forster.
“I started going to school to become a medical assistant. While in school, my cousin Jackie became ill with liver cancer. We were both 24 at the time. He passed away a year later. I was devastated, and wanted to be able to help others even more,” says Forster. “I wrote a story about Jackie, and that became my application essay to Lawrence Memorial / Regis College Nursing Program.” Forster graduated from the college in 1993 with an Associates Degree of Science in Nursing.
Forster started her career working as a supervisory nurse. She joined Right at Home Salem and Marblehead in 2009 and was promoted to become the Director of Nursing two years later. Forster divides her time working between the three Right at Home offices in Somerville, Salem, and Haverhill. “No two days are alike. I may be in the office one day and on the road the next day,” says Forster.
As the Director of Nursing, she is responsible for managing the schedules of Right at Home’s registered nurse team, performing assessments and supervisory visits, managing client cases (both private and state ones), providing orientation and training programs—such as Hospice Care and Geriatric Psychology Training--for caregivers, as well as helping clients and their families. “I enjoy working with clients in their own homes, where they truly want to be.”
An East Boston native, Forster currently resides in North Shore with her family. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her grandson when she’s not at work. Binge-watching TV series, reading good books, taking walks, going to concerts and listening to music are all her favorite pastimes.

The group primarily focus its efforts at the Salisbury Assisted Living Community in Salisbury, MA. There they spend one-hour each month on Saturday morning reading Bible verses, singing hymns and bringing joy to the residents who are unable to attend services. She also enjoys cooking, reading a good book and spending time with her family during her spare time.

Ashley Chase, CareTeam Recruiter
Ashley Chase joined the Right at Home Salem and Marblehead family in February of 2018 as the CareTeam Recruiter for the Salem and Haverhill offices. Ashley brings with her over ten years of experience working within the home-care industry with skills she acquired from experience in different roles. Her previous roles included home health aide (HHA), home care scheduler, home care manager and newly homecare recruiter.
Ashley was introduced to the home-care world as a youth when her great grandmother required extra assistance outside of what her family was able to deliver. Her family employed the support service of home health and home care assistance to meet her loved ones needs to help her remain at home. She watched as certified nursing assistants (CNA’s) and visiting nurses provided compassionate care in their home and this brought her great comfort. It was due to this experience that Ashley was inspired to help others in need and desired to make a difference in a meaningful and rewarding way.
As the CareTeam Recruiter, Ashley is responsible for finding top notch candidates to join the Right at Home team and help our clients achieve their goal of remaining safe, independent and comfortable in their homes. When not working, Ashley loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, reading good books and listening to music.
