We are committed to providing quality home care.

At Right at Home of Salt Lake City our purpose is to improve the quality of life we serve and high client satisfaction demonstrates that we’re effectively making our client’s and their families lives better.

We work hard, every day and every shift, to have high satisfaction. We focus on hiring caregivers who have a natural, “caring” side to them.  We then work hard with an in-field care supervisor and an office-based support team to provide our caregivers additional training and support to ensure they have the skills and abilities to make a positive difference to our clients. That support team is also available to support our caregivers and clients when a concern arises or when life happens, and adjustments need to made.

"I just did recommend them to someone. They are flexible and everyone they have sent to my house is likeable. They follow directions and they do not complain about the things I ask them to do."

Our Mission

Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. We want you to be in the driver’s seat regardless of any limitations or challenges you’re facing.

Most of all, we believe aging isn’t just about staying healthy, safe and independent. It’s also about living well.

Our History

During his years working as a hospital administrator, our founder Allen Hager watched many patients, especially seniors, leave the hospital and return home. But they did not necessarily return to health. Allen found that, once at home, a lot of his former patients were unable to care for themselves. He knew that with a little help, most of these people could lead healthy, happy lives in their homes. This became the idea for Right at Home.

After talking to dozens of families about the challenges they faced and what kinds of care would help, he became a certified nursing assistant to experience firsthand the needs of people who required professional assistance to continue living at home.

Today, with the help of Allen’s insights, Right at Home has grown to over 600 locations that serve tens of thousands of clients across the U.S. and around the world.

Our Philanthropy

Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.

As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
