Ten Years Changing Lives

Join the Right at Home Sandhills team as we join with our Right at Home Wake County team while they celebrate ten years fulfilling our mission to improve the lives of those we serve with professional caregiving services that empower older adults and adults with disabilities to live life on their own terms.

To mark this special occasion, we have planned an event to celebrate our local community and partners, but also to kick off another new year serving others by showing our support for an organization that is changing the lives of adults with disabilities, the Free Wheelchair Mission.

How You Can Help Adults with Disabilities Worldwide

As an organization and as individuals, the Right at Home mission is sometimes confined by the walls of our territories, our cities, our states and even our own country. In collaboration with the Free Wheelchair Mission, and with your help, we have the rare opportunity to extend this wonderful mission to the elderly and disabled in 93 countries .

With your financial support, you can provide the life transforming gift of mobility to someone living with a disability in a developing nation.

More About Free Wheelchair Mission

The Free Wheelchair Mission (FWM) is a humanitarian, faith-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing wheelchairs at no cost to people with disabilities in developing countries. It is estimated that there are over 100 million people with disabilities globally who lack mobility. That means millions of people are forced to crawl on the ground or live in complete isolation due to their disability. They oftentimes are forced to live in small rooms, alone, completely dependent upon others, and without hope for a better future.

For just $80 per wheelchair , Free Wheelchair Mission is able to deliver special constructed wheelchairs directly to these individuals, quickly and inexpensively transforming their day to day lives and giving them a new way to navigate their local communities.
