Meet Your Local Right at Home Team
Ben Solomon - Owner
Ben Solomon - Owner and Administrator
My role: It is my responsibility to make sure that Right at Home lives up to its mission of improving the lives of those we serve. At Right at Home we take pride in serving our clients who may be seniors, or adults with disabilities, and also their families and those who care for them. I have assembled a team of managers and senior care professionals who collaborate to support our care teams, community partners, clients and their families with the goal of providing the highest quality and timely care throughout King, Pierce, and South Snohomish Counties.
I opened the first Right at Home in Seattle in 2004 and have since expanded to Bellevue and Tacoma over the past thirteen years, serving thousands of our seniors and their families. We have been recognized as President Council Members in the Right at Home system for ten years, and have expanded our services from personal care and caregiving to skilled nursing, since 2007.
I am an active member of the Washington State Home Care Association and served on the board for three years. I have also served on the Pierce County Fall Prevention Coalition and host a weekly radio show on KIXI 880AM, Right at Home Senior Care Living, introducing our listeners to resources and professionals in the senior care community.
What motivates me: I take personal satisfaction in knowing that every day we help clients lead more fulfilling and rewarding lives, inspired by the quote from Adlai Stevenson: It is not the years in your life but the life in your years that count. I have never met a person who has a goal of living their golden years in a nursing home. I am dedicated to helping as many community members as possible live their lives under their terms.
Why I love my job: One family we worked with early on at Right at Home wished that we could help their father who recently had a stroke live long enough to see his youngest daughter walk down the aisle. Not only did this father live to see his daughter get married, but also lived to experience the joys of becoming a grandfather, trips to the family home on the San Juan Islands, and numerous celebrations with his family for many years.

Tina Solomon - Vice President, Administration
My role: I am honored to oversee Right at Home’s Human Resources department and ensure that our policies are compliant with State and Federal law. I work closely with new employees around compliance issues and monitor that they stay current as relates to continuing education and other requirements. I collaborate with our Operations and Accounting teams regularly, and always enjoy working directly with care staff.
What Motivates Me: I especially enjoy the opportunity to work one-on-one with caregivers and nurses as they progress in their careers, starting from the moment they apply to work with Right at Home, to attending orientation, to seeing them thrive in their role directly helping members of our community. Hearing their stories and how much they enjoy working with Right at Home and helping to improve the lives of our clients motivates me every day. And it’s always great when they point out how organized and proactive our company is.
Why I love my job: I love to learn and grow, and every day at Right at Home presents a new opportunity to do so. Home care and home health is a complex industry and it’s an honor to collaborate with a great team to ensure that our care staff are well-prepared and ready to expertly assist clients.
Hali Downs - Client Services Manager
Hali Downs - Client Services Manager
My role: As a Client Care Coordinator my primary responsibility is to talk with potential clients and families whom are looking for assistance. I love to go out and do our free assessments as it gives me an idea on what the needs are of our potential client and which caregiver may be a good match. I also work with the Nursing team to schedule and match our nurses with clients.
What motivates me: I have been working in gerontology for the past nine years with a specialized focus in Alzheimer and Dementia care. I moved from Vancouver, Canada in December 2016 and found a home with the Right at Home team. I am motivated by the "Right Care" that we provide, as it is so personalized to the needs of clients and their families.
Why I love my job: I recently met with a client who was deemed high risk due to having dementia with aggressive behavior. Other agencies refused to work with them and the family members were overwhelmed. Being able to provide resources and writing a very specific care plan with detailed calming techniques and approaches have drastically changed this clients’ behavior. Visiting them weeks later and seeing a big smile on the client’s face has been so rewarding and affirming.
Anna Klikan - Client Care Coordinator
Anna Klikan - Client Care Coordinator
My role: As a Client Care Coordinator I have the privilege of meeting with each client prior to starting care; this meeting allows us to create an individualized plan of care which will communicate both the client's needs and preferences to their caregivers. After completing the plan of care, I assist in choosing a caregiver who is well matched for each client in both personality and ability. I also participate in supervisory visits for care staff, scheduling, and conflict resolution.
What motivates me: I was raised by a single father, and my paternal grandmother played a huge role in my childhood. When I was 11 my grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, and I had the privilege of being part of her care team throughout my teen years. The experience of caring for my grandmother and observing the expertise of others who cared for her left me with a heart that is passionate about caring for the vulnerable and the elderly. After high school, I pursued a degree in Psychology and Counseling, and I continue to be fascinated by the discovery of each person's needs, desires, and preferences.
Why I love my job: In this role I am able to get to know each of my clients personally, which I find very rewarding. I feel it is a privilege to be the one who creates a care plan for each individual; as this document serves as the foundation for the quality care we strive to provide. One of the things I love most about this role is hearing from clients that they feel their caregiver was handpicked for them, and that our services are improving their quality of life.

My role: As an office assistant I am the first point of contact for visitors and inquiries to Right at Home. With a warm and friendly personality, I make people feel comfortable and ensure that their questions are directed appropriately. I ensure that the caregivers are in compliance with care logs and that weekly schedules are confirmed.
What motivates me: Seeing caregivers that are so dedicated to caring for the clients they serve is inspirational. This motivates me towards getting a task done and knowing it is for the benefit of the Right at Home team and the clients we care for. I am confident in the care we provide and find satisfaction that one day when I need care, Right at Home will be there at my home to take care of my needs and provide companionship.
Why I love my job: I am happy being able to support our team and clients. After many years of working in medical settings, I chose Right at Home to be the right place for me to work. I am interested in this growing field due to personal experience with seeing my aging parents needing greater levels of care. I get satisfaction from knowing I can assist the caregivers with their needs and requests.
