What is CuePath?

Missing medications is one of the biggest problems seniors face. CuePath is a smart medication reminder and monitoring system.  It works just like the manual blister packs your loved one is use to, so there is no need to teach a senior how to use the product.

The medication your loved one relies on is pre-packaged and scheduled by a pharmacist and CuePath reminds and monitors which medication has been punched out.  CuePath makes it easy to manage your medications.

Benefits

  • Reduces the risk of medication mismanagement and its associated problems.
  • Extends your independence and improves your quality of life.
  • Brings peace of mind to family caregivers.

How It Works

1
Right at Home will identify a CuePath participating pharmacy who will coordinate the logistics with you to get your oral prescriptions dispensed in a smart bubble pack.
2
Right at Home will collaborate with you and CuePath so you will be able to track you or your loved one’s medications adherence 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. If you would like, Right at Home can arrange to be included on the adherence list to see when medications are taken on-time, when they are missed, or when a wrong compartment on the bubble pack is opened.
3
When you miss scheduled doses, the Adherence Support Team will call to assess how you are feeling and what they can do to support you.
4
You can use this information to evaluate compliance concerns or have Right at Home work with you to better understand why you or your loved one have not been able to take your medications on-time. Our support team is trained in behavior science and will take steps to resolve the adherence problems based on our findings.

5

You have the option of having a Right at Home Care Manager periodically review your medication adherence report with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Right at Home will collaborate with you to identify a pharmacy to dispense your loved one’s medications in bubble packs that are CuePath monitored. The pharmacy synchronizes your prescription schedule, so CuePath and your Medication Reminder Assistant know when your meds are supposed to be taken. CuePath detects when each bubble compartment is opened, and whether it has been taken on-time, late or has been missed. The data is shared with you and if you desire, a Right at Home Care Manager.

Internet-connected dispensers and pill organizers need to be loaded manually by a family member, or by a state certified professional, such as a Registered Nurse. For a family member that loads a pill organizer, a momentary distraction can have serious repercussions. And it is expensive to have an RN load a pill organizer every week or month. Our goal is to have the pharmacy dispense the medications and relieve your family of the stressful responsibility, or the high cost of contracting a nurse.
