Right at Home Chicago Metro

Having all four grandparents and five living great-grandparents as a young child, I have always been drawn to working with older adults. A Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and Master’s degree in Community Counseling led to a successful tenure in hospice care preceding my joining the incredible, service-focused world of Right at Home in 2013. I am passionate about assisting individuals to remain as independent as possible for as long as possible, aging in place with dignity and autonomy, or recuperating from an illness or injury in the comfort of their own home! It is an honor to serve my community as part of the RightCare, Right at Home team. When not supporting the needs of our clients, caregivers, and community, I still enjoy making music, especially with my husband and four children.

Victoria Tortoriello, CNA

Right Care HR Specialist

I have been a CNA for the past 15 years, and with Right at Home for the last 5. My passion has always been to care for others, and I like that Right at Home gives me the opportunity to help seniors remain in their home when they would otherwise be placed in facilities. I especially like that Right at Home allows me to be a part of something great, and to make a difference in the lives of others.

Amanda Kelly, BSN

Director of Nursing

I have worked in home care for 13 years, starting out doing skilled nursing visits for a home health agency then transitioning to in home nursing and even managing a new home care agency for a year. Over the years I have seen many different needs for home care ranging from short term rehabilitation to long term nursing care for chronic conditions as well as weekly visits for whatever needs the client may have. The main thing I have learned throughout all of this is that when a person is able to continue living in their own home and community with the help of any home care needs they may have, it is truly the most positive environment to maintain and preserve not only their independence but their quality of life.
