Your Career as a Caregiver
A Note about COVID-19
Now, more than ever, it’s clear how essential caregivers really are. The people we serve rely on our caregivers, not just for companionship during a time of isolation, but also for assistance with their basic needs. Without dedicated caregivers, many seniors and adults with disabilities would be left with little support. You can make all the difference.
When you become a caregiver, no day will ever be exactly the same as the last. No matter what type of caregiving you provide, you will always have a wide variety of duties and experiences.
And that’s important to us.
Caregivers are the heart of our organization. We know our company couldn’t exist without you, which is why it’s so important to us to keep your passion strong and to ensure your needs are met.

Caregiver Estrella "Ella" Cuevas Nominated for National Caregiver Award
Right at Home Snohomish is proud to announce that Estrella "Ella" Cuevas has been nominated for the Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) 2022 Caregiver of the Year Award.
Ella is among more than 300 nominees from home care agencies across the country. This national program recognizes the top caregivers who provide care and services at home, such as assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication reminders, to seniors and people with disabilities.
“This caregiver goes above and beyond to help her clients to get them to be socially involved so they are not feeling isolated. She is one of the most positive people I have ever met.” Said Victoria Johnston Owner/SDCS of Right at Home Snohomish.
“Caregiving is tough. It requires a special kind of empathy that not all people are lucky enough to possess,” said HCAOA CEO Vicki Hoak. “This award is just one way we can lift up our caregivers, who are a vital lifeline to the clients they serve at home. It is a pleasure to recognize those who go above and beyond with a song, a surprise outing, or a client’s favorite meal to ensure they are cared for.”
Congratulations to all of the 2022 Caregiver of the Year Award nominees and THANK YOU to the best of the best – our caregivers here at Right at Home Snohomish.
