Leana White, Business Manager
Leana is a graduate of Gupton-Jones College. She has an associates degree in Mortuary Science. She started her career in funeral services, assisting families in their time of need. Later she moved on to roles in hospitality management. As a teenager, she watched her own family struggle to care for her aunt when she became ill. At the time they did not have the resources or knowledge to know that they could find professional caregivers who could help them. She is inspired to help others in the same situation, and now has the resources and education herself to help them get the additional assistance they need to care for their loved ones. Her favorite part of the home care business is interacting with coworkers and meeting great caregivers. In her free time, Leana enjoys crocheting, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
Grace Patterson, Care Coordinator
Grace is one of our care coordinators. She works with families to schedule the ideal caregiver to take care of their loved ones. In her spare time, she loves to spend quality time with her family, travel and go to the beach. She’s been a scheduler for 15 years and continues to love what she does. As a mother of four young kids, motherhood has been her greatest challenge and greatest blessing.
Colandrea Tuggle, Care Coordinator
After working for over two decades in healthcare, Colandrea is well prepared to help our clients and team. She has tackled many different healthcare challenges in the past as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) as well as a medical office administrator, with knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing, payroll, office management, electronic medical records, human resource management and more. She is currently obtaining a degree in Health Management.
Colandrea says she has always had a passion to help others. Her favorite part of the day is communicating with coworkers to resolve issues.
For fun, Colandrea enjoys spending time with her children, going to the movies, going to amusement parks, traveling, shopping and putting puzzles together.
Lonniecia (Lonnie) Thurmon, Human Resource Manager
Lonnie attended Indiana University Northwest and earned a Bachelors of Business Administration/Human Resources at Strayer University in Georgia.
Before joining Right at Home, Lonnie worked in the Administrative field for 18 years working in all areas of running an efficient office; working as an Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant, Human Resource Representative, Supervisor and Office Manager. Lonnie also has experience working in the non-profit, local government, higher education sectors. Her most recent position was the Office Manager/Recruiter with a Staffing Agency.
After helping care for her ailing grandmother, Lonnie says, "It gave me an up close and personal look into all that goes on to properly care for our elderly loved ones. I do feel that you need to have a caring heart to be in the home healthcare business."
Originally from Gary, Indiana, Lonnie enjoys traveling the world's beaches, collecting seashells to add to her growing collection.
Ebony Pleger, Human Resource Recruiter
Ebony has been with Right at Home since February 2021. She graduated in 2008 with a degree in Business Management as well as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Ebony was born and raised in Atlanta GA and has over 10 years of Staffing and Human Resource experience. Becoming part of Right at Home has been a very rewarding experience, She is very excited to be a part of Right at Home as it feels like home, and is looking forward to building more with the company and caregivers.
Amanda Fritzinger Quality Care Coordinator
Amanda joined our team in 2021 after spending several years in banking and mental and behavioral health staffing. In her role as Quality Care Coordinator, Amanda facilitates office communication with clients and caregivers. In why she is in home care, Amanda says she has always enjoyed helping others and making lives better.
Francine Oglesby, Community Outreach Liaison
Francine is a UGA graduate and was involved with starting the first sorority, Tri Delta. She has worked as a substitute teacher and then went into sales; selling construction materials, and she was one of the first female fax\copier salespeople in the region. She has worked in the home care industry for 4 years and loves working for Right at Home because they “Do the Right Thing”. She enjoys spending time with friends, loves music and fine dining.
Jack Moon, Community Outreach Liaison
Jack Moon joins Right at Home South Atlanta with more than 26 years of experience working as the Director of Marketing for a General Contracting firm. With a BS in Marketing from Capella University, in his role Jack networks with referral sources and signs clients for our home care services. A native of Conyers, GA, Jack likes to spend his free time weightlifting, filmmaking and spending time with family.
Margaret Hughes, RN CCRN
Margaret has been with our office for over 4 years, In her role, she works on client assessments, care plans. also reviewing care records. Margaret assists with our caregiver training as well as following up on changes in condition as reported by caregivers. Prior to Right at Home, Margaret worked in a combined medical-surgical ICU for 44 years. She was a staff nurse, charge nurse, preceptor, and manager of the ICU. She taught numerous classes related to critical care within the facility as well. Margaret is nationally certified in critical care nursing. Part of her reason to be in home care, she says "I don’t ever remember a time that I didn’t want to be a nurse; that goal was always there. I did help care for my grandmother when I was almost 9; she was bed bound at home after a fall and lived with my family." Outside of work, Margaret helps with Meals on Wheels and a food pantry, card/phone/visit ministry for shut-ins, assists with meals for bereaved families. She is also a National member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Dorothy Henderson, RN
Dorothy joined our Right at Home South Atlanta team in 2019. She is a Registered Nurse and is a certified nurse in Maternal Newborn Nursing, Before joining Right at Home, Dorothy was a Registered Nurse with Wellstar Health Systems for 17 years plus a clinical instructor with West GA Technical College, RN program for 2 years.
Tawanda White-Scott, LPN
Tawanda graduated from Griffin Technical College with a Practical Nurse Diploma, CPR and first aide training . She had been a Correctional Nurse prior to joining Right at Home in 2019 as well as a Unit Manager of a Behavior and Memory Care unit for five years. Tawanda has spent most of her nursing career in long term care and have done home health and hospice as well. In her role, she makes the Nurse schedules monthly and completes nurse visits. When asked about why home care, Tawanda says "I have a mentally and physically disabled Aunt and I grew up caring for her to help her live as independently as possible. So caring for people is a passion and I love what I do."
