"Sharing Our Values, Our Lives, Our Community"

Having a Blast at Spring Open House

We enjoyed being invited to participate in the Primrose Retirement Community of Mishawaka Spring Open House. It was wonderful to meet the residents, Primrose's excellent team and other amazing services that serve our Michiana senior community. It was a pleasure to deliver our door prize, the "I Love Trader Joe's" gift basket to the lucky winner, a resident at Primrose . . . because who doesn't love (Trader Joe's!). We hope you enjoyed all the popular favorite treats from Trader Joe's - South Bend, IN.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated. It’s always great to see familiar faces and to welcome new ones into our life!

Music and Games Bring Joy

Guess the song: "I've got sunshine, on a cloudy day. When it's cold outside, I've got the month of May..." – Right at Home South Bend owner Jon Lawson LOVED playing Music Bingo with residents (and with one of our caregivers!) at Linden House this week. Everyone would start singing together as the songs played. Such a great time. It is amazing how music is magic for the older mind. The positive effects of music are undeniable!

5 Benefits of Music for Seniors

  • Music inspires spontaneous memory.
  • Total brain workout.
  • Health benefits like lower blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Delays cognitive decline.
  • Ignites social connection and fights depression.

Thank you to everyone at the event. It's so important to be there for each other as a community!
