Owner and Managing Director - Lisa McComb
I've always described myself as a nurturer. In high school, I knew I wanted to work in a caring role as a career, and eventually I choose nursing. My first nursing job was in a senior facility on weekends, while I was in nursing school. Bessie was my first client. Bessie and I looked forward to the weekends to visit and catch up. When I was on my lunch or coffee break I found myself rushedly heading for Bessie's room. Memories of Bessie and many other seniors followed me thru the years, as I worked in the acute care, chronic care, home hospice, and home infusion. As my parents entered into their eighties, and my siblings and I became familiar with home care, I was more than interested in pursuing this as a convocation. The thought of caring for clients like Bessie again was something that was quite inspiring to me.
Right at Home is allowing me to live out that dream with the Right Care philosophy where we employ the Right People who are knowledgeable and compassionate, to provide the Right Services including what they need when they need it, with the Right Approach involving a personalized plan of care and the Right Mission of improving the quality of life for those we serve.
I’m excited to serve seniors and those with disabilities through-out parts of the Milwaukee, West Milwaukee, South Milwaukee, Bayview, Cudahy, Oak Creek, Franklin, Greendale, and Greenfield, Wisconsin communities.
Care Coordinator - Michelle
Hi! I’m Michelle! I have worked in the managed care and home care fields since 1996. I have worn many hats from caregiver, to Team Leader, to Facility Manager, to Programming Manager, to Director of Care Coordination and Site Management. I have several different advanced degrees and certifications ranging from Business Management to Behavior Disorders. I have specialized in Crisis, I received my CPI RMA from UW Whitewater in 2004. I also specialize in Psychometric Projection Diagnostics, collaborative problem solving, and conflict resolution. I developed and implemented the Anchorage (WMHI) Rec-Tech program for PLS and the State of Wisconsin in 2002. It’s what I consider my biggest career milestone. I have learned a great deal about myself, my internal drives, and understanding empathy over the years in this field. My hobbies consist of many and varied arts and crafts, and everything Halloween. I have traveled to Europe, all over the Caribbean, Central America, Canada, Mexico, and many other interesting places over the years. The families I serve can count on me to get the job done, whether the job is scheduling, caregiver matching, assessing, or resolving issues. I consider myself to have a very outgoing personality, I like to think I am funny, approachable, and kind. When I am not working you will find me at home with my daughters, trying to help them steer the waters of adolescence and young adulthood unscathed.
