Put simply, our mission is to improve the quality of life for those we serve. Of course, we recognize that everyone’s idea of “quality of life” is different, which is why it’s so important to us to make you an active part of your own care plan. An Unwavering Dedication To Helping Others
Growing up in a small town, I was deeply influenced by my grandmother's values of family and helping others. I witnessed firsthand the profound impact of my grandmother's selflessness as she tirelessly assisted not only family but also neighbors whenever help was needed. Inspired by my grandmother's example, my mother, an educator, continued the tradition of making a positive difference in the lives of others.
As my parents grew older and needed help getting to doctors’ appointments, prescription management and housekeeping, my siblings and I were challenged by how to provide care when we lived hundreds of miles away. Dad had diabetes and impaired mobility and was placed on dialysis treatment several days per week. Despite the obstacles, we were determined to honor their wish of remaining in their home. After several years of dialysis, my dad passed. My Mother passed from uterine cancer eighteen months later. I am grateful that through shared responsibilities and an abundance of loving care, they were able to stay in their home of 50 years.
After spending 30 years in the corporate world, I reached a turning point in my life. Driven by a deep desire to create meaningful change within my community, I made a bold decision to enter the caregiving business. Right At Home stood out to me due to its unwavering dedication to improving the lives of those they serve. Drawing from my own experiences with the challenges faced by families caring for their loved ones, I truly understand the challenges and rewards of providing quality, dependable in-home care.
At Right At Home of Southwest Ft Worth, our mission is to foster a nurturing and supportive environment for seniors and adults, ensuring they receive compassionate quality care and allowing them to remain in their homes for as long as they choose. We strive to provide peace of mind to family members, knowing their loved ones are well taken care of.

Our People
Our Philanthropies
Right at Home’s mission is “to improve the quality of life for those we serve,” and expanding our mission to serve others around the world is truly a pleasure. We support many organizations that help people live independently.
Free Wheelchair Mission
Globally, an estimated 70 million people with disabilities have no access to a wheelchair. Those who cannot walk must crawl or be carried to their destination. In collaboration with a network of like-minded partners, Free Wheelchair Mission has distributed more than 1 million wheelchairs to people with disabilities in 93 developing countries around the world, providing renewed dignity, independence and hope through the gift of mobility, at no cost to the recipient.
As an organization, our work with Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2016 as we looked for a partner that would help us further our mission of improving lives worldwide. To date, our team’s efforts have raised more than $400,000 that has funded over 5,000 wheelchairs, which were distributed through life-changing Vision Trips to Vietnam, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
Josiah’s House
Over half of the children living in the Dominican Republic live below the poverty line and can be found on the streets in at-risk surroundings in order to make money. Josiah’s House runs family-style homes that provide vulnerable boys and girls with the basic necessities, education, life skills, and family home atmosphere needed to succeed.
Recently, 70 Right at Home offices came together to support Josiah’s House by supplying everyday items for the children of Josiah’s House. The group delivered suitcases full of clothing, personal hygiene items, toys, and other supplies.
