August 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Carrie was born in Michigan and raised in NY by her mother and grandparents. She is the proud mother of 4 children and has 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Carrie volunteered with Special needs adults while attending High School in New York. After receiving her CNA license, she went to work with Special needs children. She worked in a local hospital in the Adirondack Mountains for 5 years in the ER and Pediatrics.
Carrie was a volunteer Firefighter and received her EMT, SCBA, and Search and Rescue certification. Carrie is very selfless and compassionate and has a sincere love for her client’s and the care that she performs. We are grateful to have Carrie as a member of the Sun City Center Right at Home family.
She has been part of the Right at Home team since July 2018, and last month she proved to be an extremely valuable caregiver, as she accepted multiple fill-in and difficult assignments, and helped our clients out when we most needed.

July 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Diane moved from Eastern Long Island to sunny Florida with her two adult daughters in June of 2017. She received her HHA certification in in 1978 in Lindenhurst, NY, and has worked as an HHA for many years.
Upon completion of her training she obtained lots of hands on experience in Nursing facilities and home settings.
Career Highlights & Areas of Expertise: Diane has worked with Dementia and various patients with many different ailments and disabilities. She’s always enjoyed caring for others and is able to establish a special bond with her client’s and she’s very dependable and reliable.
Diane has proven to be a wonderful addition to our Sun City Center Right at Home family. Last month Diane went above and beyond for her clients, accepted shifts at a moment's notice, received excellent client feedback, and demonstrated superb communication skills regarding client care.
June 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Olasunkanmi 'Ola' Lundy received her HHA certification from Medical Prep Institute of Tampa Bay in 2014. Upon completion of her training she has obtained years of hands on experience in Nursing facilities and home settings caring for various patients with many different ailments and disabilities.
Ola is CPR/first aid certified and experienced with Alzheimer’s disease and full care patients. She also has a sincere passion for caring for others, able to establish a bond with her client’s and is very dependable and reliable.
This last few months, Ola proved to be a valuable addition to the Sun City Center Right at Home family, as she accepted last minute urgent assignments, took care of a tough situation with a client in need, and went above and beyond the call of duty for her client's safety and well-being.
May 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Latrecia has been a home health aide since 2000, and has since completed her certified nursing assistant (CNA) course. Latrecia has worked in both private and nursing home facilities since her graduation. She is very experienced in dementia care and personal care, and she is very compassionate, detail oriented, and dedicated to her clients.
In the most recent weeks and months, Latrecia has gone above and beyond the call of duty for one of her long-term clients, with whom she developed a real trusting and caring relationship. We are glad to have her be a part of our Right at Home Sun City Center family.
April 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Cloveta ('Clover') was born in the UK and raised in Jamaica, where she attended Knox Community College and began working as a school teacher, then as a pharmacy tech. About 18 years ago Clover decided to pursue her true passion working as a caregiver, and in 2000 she received her CNA license at Allen School in New York and has been caring for clients since.
Clover was among the top 20 finalists for the Right at Home Caregiver of the Year Nationwide Award in 2017. During the past few months she has been incredibly helpful in recognizing her client's changes in condition and in organizing the health team's efforts to take good care of the situations. Her knowledge, caring heart, and attention to detail makes her a special addition to our Right at Home family.
March 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Robin received her CNA license in 1998 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, FL, through the “Earn to Learn” program. She has obtained 20 years of hands on training and experience in Nursing homes and private home settings. Robin is CPR/First aid certified and she is a wonderful addition to the Right at Home family.
Robin is very experienced with Alzheimer’s disease and total care. She also has a sincere passion for caring for others, able to be establish a bond with her clients and is very reliable. She has been part of the Right at Home team since late December 2017, and last month she proved to be an extremely valuable team member, as she went above and beyond in taking additional last minute assignments and working with hard cases in a very professional manner.
February 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Maria received her CNA license in 1997 while living in Lansing, Michigan. She moved to Florida two years ago and became a member of the Right at Home family shortly after, where she has proven to be a great addition. Maria has many years of hands on training and experience in Nursing homes and home settings, also caring for Alzheimer’s/dementia clients, and has a sincere passion for caring for others.
For the past several months, Maria proved to be an extremely valuable staff member, as she has been very flexible to accept schedule changes, and at the same time very dependable and showing exceptional observation and communication skills. Her clients give her high marks, and so does all Right at Home team.
January 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Geri was born and raised in Indiana where she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license over 10 years ago. She’s also worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and has years of hands-on training and experience in nursing facilities and home settings. She is very experienced with Alzheimer’s dementia and personal care, and has a sincere passion for caring for others, able to establish a special bond with her clients, and is very reliable.
Since starting to work for Right at Home, she has received numerous compliments from the families for whom she has cared.
Geri has exemplified the true meaning of the Right Care, though the caring and compassion that she showed for a client and her family these past few months, getting actively involved in the client’s health and wellness as a caretaker and an advocate at times, and demonstrating great communication skills. In other words, Geri was able to go above and beyond all expectations, and proved she is a great addition to the Right at Home family.
December 2017 Caregiver Spotlight
Channel has received her Certified Medical Assistant certification in San Antonio, TX in 2016. Although she has only recently been certified, she has many years of experience working for nursing facilities and home care agencies, since the age of 15, when she assisted in her aunt’s care facility. She found her passion for caring at a young age has been helping those in need ever since.
Channel has experience in dementia care and activities of daily living (ADLs), she’s extremely reliable, detail oriented and dedicated to her clients. She has been part of the Right at Home team since August 2017, and last month she proved to be an extremely valuable caregiver, as she accepted multiple fill-in shifts, last minute assignments and helped our clients out when we most needed.
