January 2018 Caregiver Spotlight:
Geri was born and raised in Indiana where she obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license over 10 years ago. She’s also worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and has years of hands-on training and experience in nursing facilities and home settings. She is very experienced with Alzheimer’s dementia and personal care, and has a sincere passion for caring for others, able to establish a special bond with her clients, and is very reliable.
Since starting to work for Right at Home, she has received numerous compliments from the families for whom she has cared.
Geri has exemplified the true meaning of the Right Care, though the caring and compassion that she showed for a client and her family these past few months, getting actively involved in the client’s health and wellness as a caretaker and an advocate at times, and demonstrating great communication skills. In other words, Geri was able to go above and beyond all expectations, and proved she is a great addition to the Right at Home family.
