Sharon Weeden, Owner
Retiring early from her career in banking because of a family member’s illness inspired Sharon to invest in the community in a new way.
I was doing research on companies that I thought would help me further my role as a servant leader within the Tallahassee community. I thought about in-home care because of my affiliation with the Elder Care Services in Tallahassee.
Before opening Right at Home Tallahassee, Sharon was President and CEO of Tallahassee State Bank. Sharon’s experience running a company will enable her to build a team of caregivers that are caring, compassionate, and focused on improving the quality of life for those they serve, allowing her team to fulfill Right at Home's model of RightCare: The Right People with the Right Approach for the Right Reasons.
Sharon is a longtime resident of Tallahassee and obtained her MBA from Florida State University. Throughout her time in Tallahassee she has volunteered with local non-profits and was an active member of many local boards including Elder Care Services, Volunteer Tallahassee, The United Way Board, First Presbyterian Preschool and The Tallahassee Lender’s Consortium. She is also a member of the Economic Club of Florida, The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Emeritus Director for Elder Care Services.

She worked primarily in lending related support roles for the past 20+ years, with a focus on customer service and administrative support. She and Sharon worked together for 26 years prior to Sharon’s retirement from banking.

She held a variety of roles within hospice that focused on making certain volunteers, staff and community partners were providing quality care. Prior to entering the healthcare field, Lori served the senior population of Immanuel Baptist Church as their Minister of Senior Adults and Families where she worked diligently to provide educational as well as social experiences to the senior community of the church.
Lori is a graduate of FSU and is happily married to her husband Michael of 26 years. She has two daughters, Madison and Lexi who both played Division I Beach Volleyball. Lori loves to be outdoors and enjoys camping, beach volleyball and leading a very active lifestyle.
Amber Murray, Care Coordinator
Amber started working with Right at Home Tallahassee as a Certified Nursing Assistant. While assisting our clients Amber was caring and attentive to their needs. Our clients often commented on what a wonderful caregiver she was. When the Care Coordinator position opened in the Right at Home Tallahassee office, Amber was a perfect fit with her organizational skills and caregiving experience. She relates well to both to our caregivers and our clients.
Amber relocated from Palm Beach to Tallahassee to attend college. Previously she was working as an afterschool counselor and substitute teacher in Palm Beach. Her caring nature inspired her to want to apply her nurturing skills in the field of geriatrics. Amber has a passion for helping people across their life span to increase their quality of life, which is why she enjoys working for Right at Home. In her spare time, Amber enjoys being active in the gym or outdoors, where she engages in activities that help her stay healthy and fit.
