Sharon Weeden, Owner

Retiring early from her career in banking because of a family member’s illness inspired Sharon to invest in the community in a new way.

I was doing research on companies that I thought would help me further my role as a servant leader within the Tallahassee community. I thought about in-home care because of my affiliation with the Elder Care Services in Tallahassee.

Before opening Right at Home Tallahassee, Sharon was President and CEO of Tallahassee State Bank. Sharon’s experience running a company will enable her to build a team of caregivers that are caring, compassionate, and focused on improving the quality of life for those they serve, allowing her team to fulfill Right at Home's model of  RightCare: The Right People with the Right Approach for the Right Reasons.

Sharon is a longtime resident of Tallahassee and obtained her MBA from Florida State University. Throughout her time in Tallahassee she has volunteered with local non-profits and was an active member of many local boards including Elder Care Services, Volunteer Tallahassee, The United Way Board, First Presbyterian Preschool and The Tallahassee Lender’s Consortium. She is also a member of the Economic Club of Florida, The Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce and serves as an Emeritus Director for Elder Care Services.

Carneica Baker, Care Coordinator

Carneica has been working in health care for over six years. She earned her Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) while she was in high school, then went on to receive a B.A. in Health Care Management from Florida A&M University.  In the future, she plans to return to school to complete a Masters in Business.

Carneica said her favorite part of the work day is knowing she’ll make a difference in others lives.

For fun, she enjoys designing things as well as editing videos and pictures.

Judy Cairns, Office Manager

Judy moved to Florida from the Carolinas. She previously worked at another in home care company for six years as the marketing director and the office manager.  She has worked at two assisted living and memory care communities for over four years as their director of sales/marketing and admissions.

Judy has personal experience caring for family members, as the primary caregiver for her eldest brother for over 25 years. She also cared for her elderly parents throughout the end of their lives.

She has a passion for memory care, seniors and their families. She previously helped secure a large Rotary Club donation to support Memory Care residents. She also helped start an Alzheimer's / Dementia training in hospitals, as well as for police, fire department and EMS

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
