Caregiver Spotlight: Antwaney J.
From the client's daughter:
"She always looks out for mom's best interest and care; she’s been with us so long she’s like part of our family. She’s always willing to help with anything we need."
From the staff:
“Antwaney is always willing to help, whether it's with a new client or someone she's been with forever, she will always bend over backwards to help cover things. She is an amazing advocate for her clients, and if they need something or she is concerned or she is reporting a change she is always on top of getting us that information. She is a great part of the Right at home team.”
A little bit about Antwaney:
- How long have you been with Right at Home? going on 3 years!
- Favorite thing to do when not not working? Doing homework, building Lego sets or spending time with my kids.
- Fav sports team? Washington Commanders
- Do you have a favorite candy/snack? candy apples and carrots with ranch
- What is one of your favorite moments as a RAH caregiver? bonding with my long term and short-term clients and getting compliments about how I work.
- Who inspires you to do what you do at RAH? I'm inspired through my late son who fought so many battles until it was his time to rest, and growing up I've watched my grandmother and mother climb the medical ladder, so I desire to do the same.
- What advice would you give a new caregiver? Give it your all and to always be open to learning different ways to communicate with clients whether it's verbally or even written communication.
- What is one thing you have learned since starting at RAH? The different techniques and skills needed to cater to different clients.
