Recognized As a Leader in Alabama Home Care Services
Since our beginning just over three years ago, Right at Home West Mobile has dedicated ourselves to quality, in-home care.
"We aim to ensure that each of our clients can age comfortably in place. We always hope to keep them in their homes one day longer." - Right at Home West Mobile Owner Neal Gaudet
Aging can be frightening for many people for multitudes of reasons. People who once had complete ability and mobility may now only have limited range of motion and require assistance for tasks they once acknowledged as banal. Suddenly a home they have loved for years could change to suit their changing needs.
Likewise, family members may begin to face growing concerns for their aging loved ones. These family members may become fearful of the safety and well-being of their loved ones.
Luckily for the residents of the Alabama Gulf Coast, Right at Home West Mobile provides both quality and award-winning care for seniors.
Right at Home West Mobile is recognized for our outstanding care through Home Care Pulse, an independent, third-party research company that gathers feedback from our clients and caregivers and reports it back to our office.
What does it mean to receive the 2019 Best of Home Care® - Leader in Excellence Award?
When considering in-home care for your aging loved ones, it can often feel like a never-ending, up-hill battle. Usually, families must comb through numerous agencies in their area hoping that they have made the best choice
Because of Home Care Pulse and other third-party research entities, families can quickly recognize outstanding care – especially when many agencies claim to have the best care without being able to prove it.
In order to conduct their research, Home Care Pulse interviewed 10% of our clients and 10% of our caregivers each month for a year. Many of the questions asked regarded the quality of our services, training, and care. In addition, all of those interviewed were asked about their likelihood to recommend Right at Home West Mobile to a friend. Because this research was conducted independent of the Right at Home franchise, those considering care for a loved one can be certain that the results of Home Care Pulse’s research is accurate.
For Right at Home West Mobile to receive this award, we had to consistently rank in the top 10% as both a Provider and Employer of choice with Home Care Pulse. Top-scoring providers, such as Right at Home West Mobile, who ranked in the top 10% for twelve consecutive months while also receiving the Best of Home Care® - Provider of Choice award and the Best of Home Care® - Employer of Choice award within that time frame were eligible to receive the Best of Home Care® - Leader in Excellence award.
What does our award-winning care mean for you?
Award-winning care also means award-winning service, award-winning understanding, and award-winning compassion.
"I have been with Neal since his earliest days with Right at Home. Each year, I have the opportunity to watch our company grow and improve. One thing that is the most impressive, though, is the complete desire for quality care; not only from Neal, but from each of our caregivers and all our office staff. I love being able to witness the little things like birthday surprises for our clients or goodie bags for caregiver appreciation. I think this award is completely reflective of our company and all of our hard work." - Karley Dent, Director of First Impressions
Together, our office staff and caregivers work with each of our clients and their family members to develop a specific care plan that will work best for the individual needs of that client. Our clients also can add or remove tasks and services from their care plan based on changing individual ability and necessity. We encourage clients to update and customize their care plan because we always want their needs properly met.
Many of the services we provide include, but are not limited to:
- 24-Hour Care
- Companion Care
- Light Housekeeping
- Assistance with Daily Activities
- Fully-Assistive Care to Involve Bathing and Incontinence
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
In order to ensure the highest-quality of care for each of our clients, we require that each of our caregivers and office staff members are carefully and thoroughly screened, insured, and bonded. We also require our caregivers to participate in annual training and encourage completion of Dementia Education and Training Act (DETA) training.
In our main office, each of our staff members has acted as a main caregiver for either a parent, grandparent, child, or significant other. We pride ourselves in the ability of our office staff to empathize and understand the needs of our clients while also understanding the work requirements for our caregivers.
