Lou Giampa – Owner
Hobbies: Softball, Golf, Managing Little League Youth Baseball, Community Volunteer
Education: Cornell University, Regis High School
Experience: Portfolio Manager on Wall Street for 15 years, Certified Nurse’s Aide, Certified Dementia Trainer, board member of National Post-Acute Care Continuum (NPACC)
Why I love my job: After getting my CNA training to help care for my ailing grandmother, I began to volunteer working with Alzheimer and Dementia patients in rehab facilities. At that point, I felt that I had found my true calling, so I left the finance industry to open my local Right at Home office. I am extremely proud of the service we have provided to our Westchester community over the years. To be able to help seniors and their families through some of the most difficult times in their lives has been such a rewarding experience. I am eternally grateful for the hard work and dedication of my office staff and caregivers whose passion and dedication have provided our clients with the best experience possible. I hope to continue to follow our Right at Home mission, “To Improve the Quality of Life for Those We Serve.”
Mary Colucci – Director of Client Services
Hobbies: Cooking, Antiquing, Community Volunteer, Gardening
Education: Executive Secretarial/Business Degree
Why I love my job: My career started as an Executive Secretary and then I stayed home for a while to raise my 4 children. I had other administrative positions along the years, but didn’t realize my calling until I applied as an Administrative Assistant for a Geriatric Care Manager (GCM)/Psychotherapist and her team of GCM’s. That position changed my life. It opened the door with the opportunity to not only help others, but also the ability to give the gift of home care services from Right at Home to my own close family members. It changed my life, their lives, and my family’s too.
What I really love the most about my job is the people I have met over the years. Getting to know our clients, and connecting with their families has personally brought me a lot of happiness. What other job can you say that you actually get to make a difference in someone’s life? I also value my relationships with our caregivers and seeing how their selfless care enhance so many lives. My clients, their loved ones, and our caregivers have taught me so many life lessons – grace and strength under adversity, and how the simple things in life are so precious. I never take that for granted.

Education: Irvington High School, Received Bachelor’s in Business Management from St. Thomas Aquinas in Sparkill NY.
Why l love my job: In 2008 my grandmother was hospitalized and was in serious condition. When she was discharged she came to live with me and I became her primary caregiver. It was at that point I realized I wanted to go into the geriatric healthcare industry. I can relate firsthand to the care challenges of seniors and their families. I love the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life and getting to know the different individuals we encounter daily, whether it be the clients or our caregivers. I believe that because I am energetic, upbeat and funny, that I bring a lightness of spirit to each exchange. I listen with my ears and my heart openly.
Rashida Lewis- Staffing Coordinator
Hobbies: Dancing, cooking a great meal, reading, and creating new hairstyles
Education: Degree in Computer Information Systems, Westchester Community College, Lehman College
Why I love my job: After working many years as a Systems Analyst, my family encouraged me to consider healthcare since the majority of my family are nurses and doctors. Even though I am passionate about Technology, I listened and took a Home Health aide class and became licensed as a Certified Nurse’s Aide. At that point I realized I have a passion for working with the elderly. Prior to working for Right at Home Westchester, I was the lead house supervisor at an Assisted Living facility in charge of 195 residents, caregivers and medication techs. Working with the elderly made me realize that life is precious and we should always be grateful for what we have because tomorrow is not promised. I love working for Right Home Westchester because the job allows me to have an impact on the lives of people who are at the highest level of need. Every day is different, and I love that I can make a difference in clients and caregivers lives.
