Meet the Winston Salem Care Team
Greg and Jackie Brewer, Owners
Greg has been the President and Co-owner of Right at Home franchise in Winston-Salem, North Carolina since 2004, with his wife and partner, Jackie, Assistant Agency Director.
Jackie’s past work experience in marketing and client relations for community non-profits and corporations has served her well as she manages operations for Right at Home.
Greg’s previous career experience included corporate executive positions with several Fortune 500 corporations as vice-president human resources specializing in recruiting, organizational development, training, quality and diversity.
The Brewers started the local franchise of Right at Home because of the increasing need for elder care caused by people living longer. This was a situation they had experienced themselves with the care of their own aging grandparents who suffered from dementia and Alzheimer’s. The Brewer’s were also involved in the Hospital to Home Pilot Program with Forsyth Medical Center of Novant Health for seniors. This program is now being implemented in eight different area hospitals throughout the Triad, and is now paid for the by the Medicare Innovations program making strides to reduce hospital readmission rates.
The Brewer’s represent Right at Home in many local volunteer organizations as a means of giving back to the communities in which they service. Mr. Brewer has been a leader in the Northwest North Carolina American Red Cross, Shepherds Center of Winston Salem, YMCA of Winston Salem, and Reynolda Rotary of Rotary International.
