Mindy grew up in Utah in a large family where it was commonplace to care for other members of the family who were in need. Caring for others became instilled in her and continued as she finished school and started a career in hospitality. She spent 16 years in the hotel industry working everything from the call center, to the front desk, to finally revenue strategy and business development in the corporate office. Mindy discovered that helping guests create memories and business strategy were her passion. Mindy and Tate were looking for something that would meld their business knowledge with their passion for caring. Right at Home was the perfect fit! Mindy is the administrator and head of the business.
Tate Wilder grew up on the Northwest side of Houston. He finished his degree at University of Texas Austin. Prior to running the Right at Home - The Woodlands office with his wife, Mindy, he spent his career in the healthcare industry in many different facets for nearly 20 years. No matter what position he held he always enjoyed caring for patients and knew that whatever he and Mindy decided to do would have to involve that passion. Tate serves as the Alternate Administrator and when not in the office, he is out in the field marketing and serving their clients.
I am a 35 year old mother of 3 teenagers. 15 and 14 year old boys Kayman and Korbyn and my daughter Alexia is 13! My kids are all great students, all are A/B honor roll students and are all active athletes who love helping others. I am blessed!
I also have an amazing bundle addition, my boyfriend Cory of almost 2 years and his 2 teenagers 16 and 14, Cason and Kinsley. They all 3 complete our crazy little life.
In addition, I have a 6 year old English Bulldog named Bentley. Cory and I adopted a 6 1/2 month old Siberian Husky which he gave in and let me name her Nova Lane!
To sum things up, I do what I do because I love helping others. I am social and I care how our senior communities are cared for. Helping improve their daily lives ultimately improves mine! Our senior communities deserve the best, I am helping provide the BEST!
I have more than 20 years of experience in all facets of training, human resources, and payroll. I have worked and consulted in a variety of industries and partnered with all levels of management to impact workplace culture, optimize high-potential talent, and minimize company liability.
I love learning and I've earned several certificates in my professional areas. I also love to read - especially mysteries, playing the piano, and volunteering my time.
My name is Latonya Coleman. I moved to Houston from the tiny town where I grew up in Louisiana two years ago. Of all the amazing sights to see here and things to do in this grand city, the food is my favorite part. There are so many great places to choose from here, I never get bored.
My background is in customer service and personnel management. I applied for my position with Right at Home and was granted an interview the next day with Mindy. She hired me on the spot and I've been managing our office ever since. It's a big job and I love it! Our staff and caregivers are all such dedicated, nice people, I feel blessed to be a part of this team.
